  • How will City Living festivals fit within the new calendar feature? How often will they occur, or will they follow their traditional schedule? Is there any way to set them to occur on certain days? I'd love to have the Romance festival occur in spring with Valentine's Day and the Humor and Hijinks festival to coincide with…
  • Thanks for the feedback guys, I really appreciate it. It's been a pretty mixed bag. At this point we have a 70% vote for "yes" and a 30% for "no" with a total of 31 participants. Anywho, for any actual viewer participation to occur, I actually have to have viewers lol. I'm going to build my base a bit, and then go from…
  • Guided gameplay is the key. I'd offer them options. Not complete freedom. I'd say what hair color should they have blue, black, brown, or red. I'd take their recommendation, but they would choose from options I provide. I do see your point though. It's something to ponder.
  • I just started my Twitch and Youtube channel. I'll actually be livestreaming today at 12pm MST for anyone that wants to join in. I'm starting a new interactive series called Your Choice where your choices will guide the gameplay. Here's the link to the live Youtube stream, and here's the link to the live Twitch stream.
  • Haha! I'm dying.
  • That's where the viewers come in. I'll just guide the story. For example, I'd tell the viewers that I'm making a single young adult sim to start. Then I'd ask them if the Sim should be a boy, girl, or even tran. From there I'd ask what kind of clothing style they should have like rugged, urban, ect. I'd also disregard…
  • It's the same as my name on here. It's also in my signature below.
  • I’ve been working on the Parched Prospect neighborhood for quite some time now. I’m almost done, I just needed to add a few more buildings in the back corner before it’s fully complete. While I was working on this neighborhood I came up with a pretty good backstory. There are four homes that were built in the sixties in…
  • I’ve been on a bit of a hiatus, but I’m back with a new project I’ve been dying to share. These A Frame Cabins reside on the old Riverside Retreat lot in Granite Falls. When I started construction I wanted to ensure multiple families would be able to vacation on a single lot without compromising living space. Adding an…
  • Mine is simmerbrentley!
  • The community lots we got in the Jungle Adventure pack were boring, so I decided to spruce them up. I started with the town square. It was lacking amenities most village centers have in South American countries. I started with one of @ehaught58 builds as a base for my concept. I edited the majority of the lot and added…
  • I need to seriously stop following this tread. You guys are giving me LIFE! Love your hood, especially the medieval vibe.
  • I'm back at it again, but this time I've been working on Salvadorada. I actually used one of your builds as a base for my resort @ehaught58. I hope that was ok. The Roadus Resort Hotel & Spa is situated in the middle of town. This compound contains a bar, restaurant, spa, and hotel, all surrounded by traditional…
  • All I gotta say to EA is Cities: Skylines. EA lost a billion dollar title to a small development team. I'm excited to see what new competitor comes out of this. SimCity was ok, but Cities: Skylines was amazing and continues to be. I never would have thought a game could be everything I ever wanted and more.
  • OMG your campus looks amazing. I'm going to have to fire up Sims 2 today!
  • I've already spent $480 on Sims 4 alone. This seems like a cash-grab for simmers like me. I like having all the content I can get. Especially if it's developer made since I don't like CC. All EA wants to do is milk Maxis dry until they kill the studio off. It's extremely sad, but I can at least enjoy the game for now. It's…
  • This one always makes me laugh. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ar3MFiF2stg
  • @ehaught58, thanks! It's a slow process, but it's almost done. I decided to add two houses instead of one at the front of the lot. The condo complex will still go in the back. The houses are relatively smaller starter homes, but they're great for singles or couples. Update:
  • I know this thread has been dead for a while, but I just had to share my Oasis Springs Casino Suburbs remake. I only have one lot left to fill in the back corner. There are two homes that were built in the sixties in this neighborhood. After the local Casino took off in the late nighties, small condos were placed on other…
  • @Mstybl95, @Rflong7, OMG these hoods are great. I usually stick to Sims 4, but your hoods are giving me an itch to play Sims 2.
  • Something what helps me is writing family bios. It keeps the magic of story telling in the game while helping you facilitate game play ideas. Once a bio is done it makes that sim more entertaining to play with because they have an plot/purpose/goal you've created. Another thing that helps is incorporating a Sim that's…
  • After taking a hiatus, Jungle Adventure brought me back to play Sims 4 again. If you think about it JA is technically two packs in one. This game pack offers a vacation destination for simmers needing something more exotic than our traditional Granite Falls getaway. I plan on making a spa out in Selvadorada as it seems…
  • I'm working on these condominiums near an older one of my duplex builds. Don lives in the larger unit on the right. Its a two story with a bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, kitchen, living room, and deck. The smaller units on the left are studio suites with a kitchen and bathroom. The main area of these unit belong to the…
  • It's snowing in February where I'm at.
  • Sadly I have to agree. Everything that has been successful in the Sims 4 revolves around newish concepts, or at least more fleshed out ones. Like parenthood, vampires, city living. They're new flavors of the old, which is great; however, they are vastly different from the previous series releases on similar…
  • I made an art gallery with paint by reference paintings. I also sell photographs that look like modern framed prints. My markup is higher than normal. I can't remember the mark up name, but I know it's above normal for sure. I manage to make a profit with one employee whose paid considerably well. Most of my paintings make…
  • What I said was the other world's already appear to be in different seasons. Not that the neighborhoods seasons should operate separately.
  • At this point I really wouldn't mind a separate world with its own winter weather. It always feels like spring in Willow Creek, summer in Oasis Springs, and fall in Windenburg; however, I'm totally down for seasons everywhere. I just know it's going to bog down the game much as it has in every other Sims series.
  • I know this thread is old, but a nameable career would be great. Just as you name your sim. It would be great if there was a simplistic unnamed career where you name your career field, and job title.
  • Currently working on a recolor of “Crystal Palace” by Maxis while jamming out to Fleetwood Mac’s song 🐸🐸🐸🐸. Thanks to season 3 of American Horror Story, I now have an unhealthy obsession with Stevie Nicks. Anywho, expect to see a download link soon. I’ll update my Tumblr once it’s up.
