I read somewhere that it'd be like an expansion pack focused on elders, living the quiet life in the rural areas. Also, is this the first time any sim had a mention of a mayor? and the tourism campaign? I know we had the politician career in City Living but it is a rabbit hole. Just don't get hyped up too much if it's not…
Finally some news!! Hopefully we'll be seeing new things, and I also like how they tease new content by just showing them on screen and not talking about it.
I wouldn't mind if the calendar was added to the base game, what they are trying to do is bring back old players by introducing new things to the base game. They are trying to sell the game by adding more "free" stuff, so that players with base game and some packs, may end up buying other packs. They are not appealing to…
wow, great ideas. a tanning group with sunburn as a requirement? haha. that would be tagged as profiling by skin tho. can occult states become famous? a famous mermaid? or with city living, a singing mermaid?
yeah. aside from the build/buy mode objects and recipes, any other activities from this pack will be really hard to see in other worlds. Like the water sports, since not all worlds with bodies of water are swimmable. or maybe in a free update? *hopeful*
This looks too good to be true. I'm already thinking of how EA is gonna water this down. Maybe the new world is small? Only a few lots. A lot of activities will be spent on water, so you get like a huge lot where all the water is going to be, like a park. Mermaids will be like aliens from GTW, not as full as vampires. It…
Definitely strangetown. I agree with the hivemind, maybe plant based, that induces brainwashing or mind control. A new town, a military active career, conspirators/doomsday preppers, maybe different take on zombies? I like this "guess the pack" idea, hopefully it comes out good tomorrow.
how about a Go to School Pack or "Get to School" haha which will be centered on kids/teens going to school, classrooms, with science labs, sports gym, theatre. complete with events (prom night, spelling/math/science competitions, sports day, drama presentations, etc.) an active teacher career if it all fits in a gamepack…
What i would not want to happen is for cars to be in only one world, but that is a possibility since they have done it with apartments. Are there any worlds with neighborhoods having direct link to roads? San Myshuno districts are either away from main roads or raised in a platform, same as with Windenburg.
they did say they are going to add "Discotheques". maybe this is another venue, or just a spin-off from the nightclubs or bars already present in the game.
i hope we could use headphones to listen to music, while doing another activity. not just a cas item. headphones are for music, although they can be a good fashion item.
same with the screenshot of the book club in the sims blog. the leader is playing Don't Wake the Llama, the rest of the group plays. however, there are only 4 seats and there are 5 group members, the person not in the game is reading a book, which may be included in the club rules, since it is a book club.
it would be fun to include a weighing scale. so that sims could know their body weight. athletic sims may get sad if they gain weight, or feel energized when they lose some. then we could keep them on bathrooms. is there a way in sims 4 to determine if your sim has gained or lost weight? like the weight slider in the past…
