  • I just wish they were more fleshed out and more like they were in Sims 2
  • I thought as much though I figured if they added the feature to base game that they would enable some base game sofas to use it. Thanks, I can stop looking now :)
  • Bit late to the party, I only just updated and had a quick peek to see new features and have a question. Just wondering if any of the current sofas work with the new auto sofa feature? I have tried a few and not sure if I am doing it right. I assume it works like the counters in that when you click a certain one you see…
  • I had this a while ago. It turned out in my case to be a mod I had that sped up writing. Not sure if that helps or not.
  • Give them some negative traits. I have mean, evil and erratic sims that are always starting something on their own. Arguing, insulting. One sims family the wife is erratic and she is always starting something with her husband and I find it hard to keep the relationship from plummeting. Also if you have snowy escape, the…
  • I am seeing a lot of sims carrying books around, I am guessing they are bookworms.
  • Do you use cc hair? I have seen a few npc's in my game with cc hair that is not greying when they become elders. I only notice they are elders when they walk stooped over.
  • He appears after 9pm in a haunted house.
  • I had a serial romantic sim that was involved with her once. Though they never got past bf/gf and didn't live together they had 3 kids together. My sim being a vampire lived long enough to see her die of old age and so his kids didn't lose the chance to visit her grave he took it home so they had some where to visit it.…
  • I think I figured out why my sim became a 'neighbor'. She is the granddaughter of Knox Greenburg and normally (in my games anyway lol) the titles of Eco Master and Master Tinker gets passed down through family members. I am wondering if that's what happened and as she was a played sim the game got confused lol.…
  • You can find them in the purchase seeds option on the computer.
  • I play a lot of games I just don't like paying for a pack in the sims for specific features only to have said features nerfed out of existence because that's what usually happens. There are ways around not getting ridiculously rich, just don't spend every waking moment asking dust bunnies to search for things. Or if you…
  • I agree there definitely needs to be some tuning but I am not seeing them being as bad as some are saying they are.
  • Yes, I agree 37k does still sound a lot but bear in mind that was constantly feeding and asking as soon as it would let me. I had more minor finds like crystals and upgrade parts. A lot more food dishes and rarely got a really pricey find. Getting things can be avoided by not doing anything with them, especially good if…
  • My house was smaller than James'. I only furnished to what she needed to function. She is a lazy slob sim and I did not befriend the bunnies I just observed. James had his game on fast speed also. Only difference being he fed and asked them to find things. Just doing nothing got me basically nothing and if people do not…
  • I just did a little test. Put a lazy slob sim in a house, took away all her money and just watched. First day she got 2 bunnies, didn't interact with them and got 100 simoleons in 24 hrs. She also made 1 meal so it was a tad more. Second day I removed all money. She had 3 bunnies and got 71 simoleons in 24 hrs. had 2 meals…
  • I'd honestly like to know how you are getting 80K a night from 3 dust bunnies if you are not asking for them to find something. Because I probably manage to get 1000 at best from random money finds.
  • I might get lucky and have Vlad break in ONCE in any game save and sometimes I can start a save and have no vampire break in at all. Alien abductions are practically non existent. So sick and tired of buying packs for features and then having said features removed or tuned so far that they may as well have been removed.…
  • To be honest the bunnies don't always give you pricey stuff. I rarely get anything that costs more than 170 simoleons. Usually I get crystals, upgrade parts and mainly food. Not to say I haven't had the odd thing that costs a little more but nothing like James was getting.
  • Yeah, they ignore it and still try to take them to the sinks. I did have some cc cupboards over the top, I have changed them to maxis ones in case it was something to do with them, just waiting for some dishes now to test it out. Edit: Yeah it was the cc cupboards, they can use it fine now I replaced them with maxis ones.

  • I did what someone here suggested and put my vacuum in a tiny room with no door. My sims try to use it but so far haven't been able too and I drag it into a sims inventory in the morning, let them vacuum then drag it back into the doorless room, so far things have been tolerable.
  • I'm wondering if some of the problems are coming from the lot types? I removed the tiny home lot type (albeit I had a modded version, though I have read that haunted lot types are having trouble too.) and things have improved. I am not losing befriended dust bunnies like I was and so far the floor is staying as it was on…
  • Definitely worth a try
  • I don't want them nerfed just fixed. I can't leave the home lot because they just vanish, even the befriended ones, and then the whole dust system breaks. The house remains sparkly clean permanently. When the lights are off you can see the dust all over the floor but it's still sparkling clean, when the lights go on the…
  • Sorry to say but they can grab the vacuum and dustbuster from anywhere it is placed and use it autonomously. I a constantly dragging them out of my sims inventory and no matter what room she is in the house she will magically grab them from wherever I have placed them.
  • I tried that. Lost the dust bunnies and fiend and now the place is permanently clean. I tried playing for 3 days and it's still sparkling and I only occasionally can check dust levels. Also I can't complete the fabulously filthy aspiration. Before I left the lot and broke everything the house was filthy but it wouldn't…
  • My sims don't even breast feed babies. Just to clarify....I don't have anything against breastfeeding in game or real life, to me it just takes longer than bottle feeding.
  • Yeah I always make sure it's empty first. I do have stuff left in after bottling up as well and have to discard contents.
  • My sims are forever trying to make either mac n cheese or chilli but I stop them and make them discard. I'll try resetting it and see if that helps, thanks.
  • I like the specters there, otherwise I wouldn't have a haunted house. It's just frustrating when they constantly want to communicate with them, especially when they are canceling tasks I have set them to do. I have resorted to not doing much when they are there unless they leave when an offering is made. Plus I just spent…
