Lol yes, the tan looks a little bit off though, no tan on his hands or under arms. Maybe he had long gloves on :D I like how he moves (lifelike) when he opens the secret door.
Yes. If the definition of an AAA game is - a classification term used for games with the highest development budgets and levels of promotion or the highest ratings by a consensus of professional reviewers and gamers alike - well then TS4 does not deserve of being called an AAA game like the sims 1-3. I so hope Paralives…
Glad you have fun with TS3 :) It’s my favorite game, love the open worlds. And there are so much to do, I still haven’t tried all careers, and haven’t played with genies yet. And the sims still surprise me from time to time. Yes Rflong's worlds are nice, but I can’t use them anymore. The bridges are missing, guess it’s…
"I can assure you that we will continue to listen, continue to invest in The Sims 4" Oh no! Off to to bed - wake me up when we have some news about TS5.
Since they started this constant "chasing new generation of players" The Sims has become a potpurri of different game changres and feels straggly and incoherent. Therefore they can't really satisfy anyone completely. When someone pointed out last week that it is a life simulation game Lyndsay Pearson's answer was "I don't…
I need some good life simulation game, thats for sure, but seeing how out of touch EA seem to be with what the fans want I’m not sure they can deliver what we want. Who knows they might resurrect Olympus :p
Have you seen this, it's mostly an article about EA and the pandemic from August 13, 2020 - an interview with Laura Miele, Chief Studios Officer at Electronic Arts. The last paragraphs about the future and her favorite thing about games is the social connection. I do hope TS5 stays out of it :/. I really do not want any…
If I'm correct we had Sparkfairy1 thread going on for 2 years. And in the end I didn't even buy TS4, but I'm glad everyone that wanted toddlers got them :) Sparkfairy1 left this forum years ago, hope she is OK.
Haha, imo the whole TS4 is a stand alone game. Idk why they named it The Sims 4? It has no resemblance to the earlier 3 amazing life simulating (!) games.
I absolutely agree! If it where a life sim game they should focus on the sims themselves, they are the main characters in a life sim! But no. Babies are still objects. Traits doesn't make sims different. With this latest Star Wars team pack and Strangeville before that I would say it's not a life sim anymore. I would also…
OP, I totally agree! I'm not seeing you asking for sex and violence as some people are implying you are. It's rated teen but I agree TS4 seem very childish. The more subtle humour in the previous iterations is by far more funny than TS4 slapstick humour imo. I read somewhere you can't have a party without goals? Why does…
EA needs competition that's for sure. And since I don't play TS4 I need some good simulation games soon. Imo Paralives seem to be the only "real competitor" at the moment. I like the look of People of the Newbery, the future will tell if it's a scam or not. Not a fan of TS4 cartoony style. And if Sims5 is online I'm not…
You are positive, but still after 6 years they haven't fixed issues people have been complaining about since day one. After so long time I would recon that it's either not feasible or that they don't care. I don't understand your reasoning that customers should spend their hard earned money to back up a multinational…
They constantly need to look for new blood, new generations of players who do not know their bad reputation. It's so backwards. I don’t understand how they think. Make good games, improve reputation and the buyers and the money will come by themselves. Fix the game, then have this show.
So true, great post! I do remember how they frequently talked down Sims 3, as if that would make more people buy TS4. No, a company doing that, it's just embarrassing. They lost my respect right there.
This is a forum for all Sims games. It's just called Sims4 forum because it's the newest one right now. Having to log into different forums for each sim's game in the series would be very impractical. Since people have different opinions about everything, it will also apply to Sims 5.
Speak for yourself OP ;) I have no interest in TS4, haven't bought anything. I was expecting TS4 to be a sequel to Sims 3 and what a chock, look what we got... I want a Sims 5 if it's done right. I'm not buying if it's online, aimed for kids, has no gameplay or useless traits.
Oh, this thread is still alive. Thanks @Evalen, @Nikkei_Simmer, @Bobbilicious and @TadOlson for the welcome back! It was really good timing to start play again. It keeps me occupied in this Covid 19 situation. The first month I edited a world to my liking in CAW, then made a lot of buildings, and now I started move sims in…
I finished it some years ago. Since I rotate through a lot of families I was almost going to skip this one because some days it only came 2 sims to the beach and it would take forever to master his lifetime wish. It was 3 beaches in the world I played but I set 2 of them to parks so I just ended up with one beach and knew…
Hi Claritea and thanks! Did I write 1997? I did... :confounded: what did I get that from, probably my dyscalculia. It should be 2017. I also started with Sims, Sims 2 but fell in love with Sims 3 (the open world). I'm also staying at home in this horrid corona time. Hope you are well and safe :)
