LOL, a "small" update? 6 Gigs is not that small. And why the game when it's only for gallery loads? Oh well, update in progress.

Having the same problem, the fix is to NOT use the default MS account for daily use. Go into settings\add user and make a new Offline user account, you still have to run the Sims 4 system folders in the main documents folder but it doesn't actually go to MS One Drive. After spending 1200 bucks on a new PC due to a killer electrical storm last week. I reinstalled TS 4, got Origin working, found that win 11 has decided to tell Origin to push my saves to One Drive and now Origin servers don't want to let me change it back to local save. Yep, it's the "small" things that annoy me.

Sooooo, still not safe to let the update run huh? I recall someone in the early days of PC's said. MSDOS, an 8 bit system for a 4 bit computer, written by a 2 bit programmer. I don't think those writing this system rate that highly anymore. Bugs, bugs and more bugs.

I made the mistake of updating my game, but have not and will not be buying the new pack. It took me a week just to get my game running again after the update. I won't be updating or buying anything new for my game now or into the future, this last mess is all I will tolerate.

Will be 68 in a few weeks and still simming. I also still wear tight jeans and rock on stage with the kids playing guitar and singing live. Only as old as you feel they say.

I never play online, and, if I need or want to go to the gallery, I use a specially crafted "Very" empty game save and an empty mods folder to go online.. Then simply copy over what I downloaded back into the main game saves. As for this update? NO WAY will I be updating until all these nasty bugs being reported are fixed.

@ModerateOsprey. Yes, unfortunately, I broke my own golden rule. Never update day 1 of ANY patch. To SilentKitty and WaytoomanyUUIDs, yes so far nothing to report from Lumia about updates to her sliders yet. Goes back to waiting.

First thing I noticed is they broke all height slider mods. Now, all mine sims are 6 foot 6 lol.

Anybody else getting a second update this morning? Or, is the system lagging again? Edit. I think I know what it is. Extra languages that I don't speak or therefore need, but it seems the game files do.

Even more fun than that, I decided to update the game about an hour ago. For some unknown reason the download slowed to a crawl and finally stopped completely. Now I am stuck with a half updated bit of junk on my PC. THANKS EA MAXIS and Origin.
