  • Interesting! It's been a while since i actually built this, so I don't remember - but normally I make a just a huge portion of the basement. Especially since I knew i was going to need a lot, it would be strange if I expanded after making one portion - but def not impossible of course. I will try moving an objects of there…
  • Thanks! I will try! I believe I've had this issues many maaany moons ago in like riverview or something.
  • You know, I'm not sure! Back when I took that screenshot, I had them wander around with no routing issues as far as I can remember. (I know for a fact they didn't atleast get stuck so that I had to reset them or anything) but I didn't think to test it for routing issues, haha. I just noticed it by accident while taking…
  • Haha! Thanks! It's a sort of "abandonded school" lot! I had quite fun making it. Sadly the lot is a bit "bugged" in that when I go into map-view, the building wont show for some reason. But it still works, doesnt crash or lag or anything. When I'm in the actual game, it shows up. but zooming in from map view, it looks…
  • Yeah, it's so bizarre. I've never ever seen this and well, I've got quite a few hours on this game, like most of us, haha. (btw you can open the pic in a new tab and it will enlarge)... strange!
  • Sorry for the late reply! I was bogged down with work and all that real life stuff. I copied hte setb thing you wrote and pasted it, so in theory it should have been correct. I will take a look again and see if maybe I missed something. As for in game, it seems to be running super smooth with high settings. I think I hav…
  • I seemed to have been able to list my card in the GraphicsCard, but not GraphicsRules. The input I made in GR was or match("${cardName}", "*GTX 1??0*") but it didn't take, apparently. in my dev. config it now says Found: 1, Matched: 0 So I probably managed to "borrow" the 580 (but not in the GraphicsRules edit)? Anyyyyway,…
  • Thanks for the information! Atleast now I know my options. And seems the only options are waiting for sales on steam or origin. Game retailers are so hard to come by here anymore, and they very rarely have older games. :\
  • Yeah, I kinda guessed this one, I mean, it makes sense of course - but Sims logic doesn't always makes sense, haha. I mean, in theory both adopted and born-of children in Sims could inherit these traits, if you consider nature vs nurture. I doubt it , but it would have been nice!
  • But what would be the point in buying it on Steam? Will I be able to get the serial key and use it on Origin? I've seen online shops sell serial keys but I'm not sure that's legit?
  • If I can change the school system with it more easy, then I do believe I'm willing to try the SP mod! Gonna go read a little bit about it!
  • Haha, no I didn't even know that existed. My nraas skills are very limited. I mainly use the mods to bypass dumb EA stuff and keep things from bugging out.
  • For every question there is a nraas mod, it seems, haha! ;) I've not dared try the SP mod yet. Will there be any active settings on it if I install it? I would prefer things to be as is if I installed it, and rather add things later if I'd need or the game is getting stagnant. Same with the career add-on. Will there be any…
  • I went over to visit twice and no trace of a dog or puppies. However, the cat was at home. The third time I went, finally the dog was there with it's puppies. Of course maybe one of the sims took the dog out for a walk or walked off property with the puppies, etc. I don't know. It's not a big lot and I searched all the…
  • Ohh!! I see. Maybe because she threw some flowers, it was like, "oh you gave flowers to an artist" but the game fails to see the artist as the husband himself. I mean, it makes sense even though it's flawed.
  • Thanks for the heads up!
  • Thanks! I didn't dare try the cinema rabbit hole rug yet, but I put in a cashier register for General items, except it was empty? But perhaps it takes a few days to roll? I've usually never had issues with the registers, but I've mostly given them a few days before I've tried them I believe. I'm also uncertain what it the…
  • Nice! Seems theres only the few issues we'd run into anyway. I already use testingcheatsenabled and all that to bypass certain things so now I'm excited to try bringing pets to the WA worlds!
  • @Bettyboop55 - I'm playing Sims3, haha. But I still have Sims 2 installed and occasionally go into it just to check up on the them, lol
  • I guess if there was a Sims 5, that was just the right amount of things from TS1&2, TS3 and TS4, maybe I'd hop on that instead. Maybe the simplicity of building and runnning community lots like in Sims2 and Sims1 (runs automatic if you set it up to do that, or runs like you're the manager), with the expanded worlds like in…
  • Ahhhhhh!! Pizza joint here I come!! Oh my GOD. This changes everything. I only ever tried the mod in relations to setting up a bakery shop the way they worked in Sims 2, but I grew bored of at some point and didn't consider the abilities that nraas mods always bring with them, haha. I've mainly used the coffee/cake barista…
  • Thanks for the replies, then maybe it was just a weird Windows-update that makes Sims 3 invinsible to the Windows key, haha. I didn't know there was a better way of minimizing the game, tbh, though I've never had any issues using the windows keys all these years. (Win 7) As for the TS3 website errors, I've tried all…
  • Oh wow, I do have that mod infact, but I never really touched upon that bakery set because it didn't suit my needs. So I can place a bakery display (any kind?) and stock it with any food available (will it show the food in the display?), and sims (mainly my own) can purchase and eat the goods without any staff? That would…
  • Oooh, I thought you just had a foggy day, haha. Yeah, then I know what you mean. Hopefully we'll see more comparisons from you and maybe even some screenshots from others so we can compare between ourselves!
  • Nature looks astonishing, as always in Sims 3. One of the main reasons I can't quit the game. (Although I've resorted to star map mods and skylight mods, haha) A skylight mod is well worth it if you like looking at stars. Do you have all the settings set up to maximum? I can't remember if I've got a bit of jagged shadows…
  • Did Origin do any updates on Sims 3 this summer? I haven't played in months, and I come back now and the windows key doesn't seem to work properly anymore when I want to close the game to the tool bar. Usually I just hit the windows key and it would minimize the game. Now, I have to ctrl alt delete first, sometimes twice,…
  • Do you mean the huge archive they made over at the TS3 site, where you could list them under what expansions was needed, how big the worlds were etc? I believe this was in the forum, and as far as I know, the forum got wiped. I think it was in read-only mode some time. (It still says read-only mode for me but when you…
  • Ohhhhh, no I don't think so! For some reason I thought it was enough with just a regular home lot. I didn't even think about that. That's super and very handy for traveleres using the mod, haha. I think I failed to check the visa level when they traveled. But they've been there twice already so it should be good. Woo!
  • I use Chrome. IE doesn't even open thesims3.com, gives me an error on the webpage. The Origin page loads in FF and I can view the Points (Almost choked at the price but that's beside the point, haha). But I haven't dared purchased yet because even way back when, I could only use IE. Whenever I forgot and tried…
