@katrinasforest That's true too, though I haven't been able to try that yet! The game just allows for new and interesting things to happen whether your OC is fully fleshed out or not, which is really fun in and of itself.
Yeah definitely, so far it's the only way I've been playing so far. I used to use these OCs to roleplay and in other forms of creative writing, but creating them as Sims is so much fun and gets me really attached to them as they live their lives in the Sims universe.
Still a new member, but when I first got the game I went on a Newcrest building spree with eight starter homes, all around 17-18k simoleons and each inspired by a different architectural style and different main color. It was fun to get used to TS4 build mode and practice new techniques through this, and each home was…
I'm 25, only started a few years ago when I got Sims 3 on sale though! and then got Sims 4 for 88% off early January haha. What a deal. But it's so interesting to see that a huge range of age demographics play this game, it's pretty cool.
The plan to have aging on for only one household is pretty smart. Simple and effective, as long as you don't forget to toggle it accordingly haha. It's too bad TS4 doesn't have sliders because in TS3 I'd just turn it off and then adjust by life stage, for example when there are too many children time to age them up in a…
I can only imagine how much time having CC would add to the process :D I haven't wanted to start doing that for TS4 yet, and I usually have references to what I want the Sims to look like already, so it takes maybe 30 minutes to an hour to get them just right.
I'm usually laid-back and casual about it. I have an idea for a character that I'm fond of, create them, insert them into the world and then let life run its course. It usually doesn't go very far to where it's generational though, maybe just a couple children and then done. But I'm thinking of starting a rotational play…
Ayo! I'm scrutyni and I'm relatively a rather new Simmer. I never had the chance to play that much when I was younger but I got Sims 3 on sale on Steam a couple years ago and enjoyed it quite a lot. And then not that long ago, got Sims 4 also on sale (yes I love those sales) and I've just started delving into this amazing…
