I just picked up 3 again! It will always be my favorite. 4 is nice for a lot reasons but it just isn’t the same. It takes about 45 mins to load my huge save file…. So playing is a labor of love.

In general on both TS3 and 4 I play mostly for live mode and playing the lives of my Sims. That being said I do enjoy decorating and occasionally building. I get frustrated with buy and build mode on TS3 because of the lack of search! It can be so hard to find what I'm looking for.

I voted 3 thinking of the build/buy music, but if we are talking about stereo music I think I would say 3! I LOVE the college rock station in Sims 2. I also love Geek Rock in Sims 3 but don't think I would choose it over 2.

Hrm. Thanks for the replies. I definitely do see a performance hit in Starlight Shores. By the end of the day things start lagging and improve after the Overwatch 3AM cleanup. I wish there was something that could solve this.
