I have to say that although it looks good visually, I still feel that I like the toon look of the sims in TS4 better. The toon look just ages better IMO. I spent and continue spend a lot of time in TS4 since it was released, but I think I would get quite bored with the realistic graphics that this game has after a little…
Why stop thinking that? It's a legitimate reason. Some of us prefer having the option to travel between worlds that are not open vs 1 single open world. We are all entitled to our views and opinions.
I wouldn't mind an open world, but only if we can travel to other worlds like we can in TS4. I don't want to be stuck playing in only one world. If that is the case, I would prefer being able to travel to other worlds with no open world vs playing in only one world with it being an open world.
I have to agree. Also, I like how they said they will implement weather etc into the base game at no cost. I'll never stop playing TS4, but I'm interested in TS5, much more than what I've seen of the competitors. Perhaps I will be able to create a new sim story alongside what I'm doing now with TS4. I'm cheering for you,…
I still like the the graphics of TS4 better. The characters look better in this than they do in Life by You, but the cartoony sims in TS4 just look better. I've said it many times, but I am really interested in seeing what the sims will look like in TS5. Since it looks like they are going with a more realistic look, I hope…
I will buy it when they bring the shopping cart back so that I can finish getting the rest of them all at once. They had the cart on EA App for a bit, but it disappeared. It's just too tedious to purchase one DLC at a time when you have a ton of DLCs.
I'm really digging the Horse Ranch expansion pack. It even inspired me to change my The Sims forum image, lol. It's a good pack. Anyways, this is the last screenshot I took. My simself and my girlfriend simself in Chestnut Ridge.
I gave a rating of 10 because I feel it's a solid pack. It offers a nice world, excellent clothes and build objects, horses and unicorns, and some new interesting gameplay. The pack fits very well into my sim story and is now one of my favorite expansion packs.
The game has some interesting ideas, but those characters... Their appearance is just not likable to me. The Sims look much better. I'm cheering for TS5. After seeing all of the recent information, excluding that post about monetization, I am excited. I can't wait to see what the sims will look like in TS5 in their final…
Yeah, now the excitement has kinda turned into worry. I don't mind paying for a subscription or even having a store with "some stuff to buy," but if this turns out like those mobile games with limitations where you gotta pay for energy or to unlock every single thing, this is gonna be a 100% pass for me. I wanna game to…
I'm still playing on the same save since TS4 was released. I also play quite often. I have aging turned off, so there's a lot of longtime sims still around.
Each to our own, but to me, it would just get so bland and boring to just be confined to one world. Being able to travel to all the worlds in TS4 just adds so much more for storytelling. I don't mind the NPCs traveling wherever they want myself. It just adds more opportunities to meet different characters for my story. Of…
I wish these guys the best of luck, and it's nice to see some competition, but the characters are just not to my liking at all. It will be a pass for me unless they do something drastic with those characters to make them look good. I am really looking forward to seeing what the sims will look like in TS5.
