People please. The devs haven't updated premades with hot and cold outfits (barring the Goths and their redo), they don't even go back and add toilets to premade lots missing them. In what world would they retroactively add sexual orientation to each and every premade?
I'm physically disabled and gay so I get where you're coming from. Pragmatically speaking, and this is a very tiresome refrain I realize (ie "it's just too much work to accomadate you" is a pervasive implicit norm), changing some code to implement a sexuality system vs the animation work required to create a meaningful…
Prior to this the game existed in a weird state where: 1. Everyone was pansexual and panromantic (explicitly/objectively) 2. Premade sims were 'coded' (meaning presented as, not actual coding) as being a set, non pansexual/panromantic sexuality (implicitly/subjectively) You can disagree with 2 if you want and say, well the…
I'm gonna play him from a toddler and he's gonna befriend my spellcaster, eventually falling in love but it's gonna be a veeery slow burn friends-to-lovers arc. He's gonna be an enormous redhead who gives dumb jock vibes but he's actually pretty smart, thinking of putting him in the education career. He needs to wear…
About what I'd expected from TS4. Undeniably better than previous iterations while still being mildly disappointing. Digitrade legs with bigger heads and a more stooped posture would have done wonders. The cutesy vibe is probably unavoidable at this stage.
I've been prepping a new save for Werewolves now I'm going to have to wait months to age them past teens. :'( :'( EDIT: But on the plus side Euphoria in the Sims!* *- with the help of a few mods and ~imagination~
My number one hope is overlap between Vampires and RoM, I want to set up a juicy, drama-laden romance between a vampire, werewolf and a spellcaster in the middle.
I'm getting Scandinavian vibes from this pack which I like a lot, a werewolf village set in Norway is very much a vibe. In an ideal world there would be some crossover with the other occult GP's with mooncasters referring to mages and the century conflict referring to something with vampires but I'm not holding my breath.…
The idea that we shouldn't do something about what we consider to be problematic because there are bigger problems that exist in the world is fatuous. The Game Changers can't do much about 40 million children who suffer from malnutrition every year, they can show discontent with a seemingly arbitrary PR decision.
There was this weird thing in Lilsimsie's legacy channel yesterday where you can ask to join the Soul Reaper's society: https://youtu.be/YbTd2m9xg4U?t=1456 anyone know what that's about or when it was added? Around 24:16 if it doesn't automatically take you there. If it's not dead person afterlife kinda deal which I would…
The SHE'S COMING FOR YOU bit has me veeeeeeery interested. The devs have mentioned there are ways to die in a haunted house. It was said in the plural but I'd be happy with just one. It would also be a delicious bait and switch for the people complaining that it's too fluffy and that Sims isn't just a game for kids. I…
My medium is gonna be Arashi Sin, she's great-granddaughter of Eli Sin and has the ancient bloodline trait. She also has both her parents and grandparents in her inventory, I'm hoping the medium skill has a way of pacifying ghosts cuz I don't want to release them but I seriously can't have four ghosts breaking everything…
They seem to have combined some elements, like the medium and ghost hunting career which is interesting. I hope the cursed items you can find are actual items and not 'evidence' like in the detective career. If it is they could incorporate another aspect like ouija boards and 'cursed' tarot cards maybe.
I don't think school uniforms are enormously uncommon in non-American bits of the world, we have school uniforms for grade and high school. Public schools btw, definitely no connotations of rich or affluent lol.
I have another sim that can give him a deathflower boquet which I'll do if their grandaughter (!) ages up to a young adult and he's still kicking. I like him, I would prefer he die naturally cuz I have been playing him for ages but every story needs a conclusion.
So you could say Eve was upset at being attacked in her home (again!) and losing Akira to the finitude of humanity but that would have been an understatement. But she was done bickering with Eli, if he wanted a war she'd make sure her opening salvo was one of overwhelming force. From what she had overheard as a child…
For today's vibes: https://youtu.be/tv_JN9Tzy1g After he confirmed what Willow told him, that Emelio was part of a shrine to Simta Muerte in Eve's bedroom, Eli felt there was really only one thing he could do. It involved fire. Eve had just wrapped up the week's lecture plans when seemingly every surface in her house…
