The THEME and SIM franchises were both EA properties but when ThemeParks sequels hit certain areas like the USA EA had them drop the Theme label and adopt the "Sim" branding instead since EA was trying to continue building up the SIM franchise. This kinda killed the Theme series which was basically the same as the SIM…
No. I did extensive research on the beta and they did lose content. The fire happened and it WAS rebuilt from scratch. This was all even confirmed by a former redwood shores employee. I literally did a few months research on this only because i know people in possession of pre release wip builds which i won't be talking…
For future reference Windows 8/8.1 supports ts2, expansions and the stories spinoffs. They were fixed in a Microsoft windows update from 2012ish that fixed a whole bunch of broken software.
You can't just "remaster" and add the sims 4 graphics, open world, etc. You do know that every single model in ts2 would have to be completely rebuilt from scratch? Ts4 graphics aren't just filters. They use a combo of object design and filters. Also, open world wouldn't be possible. The engine was buggy as it was and…
I used to play the online portion of the game (Which was basically exactly like The Sims Online, but free, and only on PS2). That was some good online times! Was sad when EA shut it down. It was pretty much the first online game I ever played.
The original sims for PS2, as well as Bustin Out, have a cheat via Codebreaker and Gameshark for a hidden first person mode that was scrapped from the game.
It was pretty fun and realistic. I played as a teen who recently left home and had my first apartment, and would plan shopping trips and hang out with friends.
Checking out Riverview and I love it. Much better than Pleasantview. Of the 3 premade though, I think I would rank it as: 1. Strangetown 2. Pleasantview 3. Veronaville Veronaville is just so boring. :P
100% agreed. I've used Macs and I work in Computers for a living, and I can say that Apple products are the most overpriced thing ever. For example, you can get a $1000 Macbook Pro with the same specs as a $500 Windows Laptop. Its pathetic and nobody should be buying Macs unless they simply like throwing money away.
There was always a fanbase for the game. Look at MTS. That forum is pretty much almost all Sims 2 modders and its super busy. We need a "The Sims" "The Sims 2" "The Sims Stories" and "The Sims Spinoffs" forums.
Not sure if anyone noticed, but you also can't have earrings on a select ear. They must be on both ears. In previous games, you could have one or two earrings. Now, you need to have two.
Well my urb got stuck in the elevator in Blankwood Towers. Not "Stuck" as in the elevator stopped, but a glitch prevented him from leaving. His needs kept dropping and he kept passing out and getting revived but couldn't leave lmao.
I have to agree this needs delayed. As someone who had high hopes for games that were rushed (And they failed), which were Spyro 4, Resident Evil 6, Silent Hill Downpour, Tomb Raider Angel of darkness, etc, I believe this game needs delayed or else it WILL have problems.
