You don't have to be old-fashioned to recognize that being able to own whatever you purchased (games, TV shows, movies, etc.) is much better than what we're dealing with now. :p
Agreed. It's actually obscene how household relationship options were pretty much lobotomized going from Sims 3 to Sims 4. It was only recently (i.e. with the game pack that shall not be named) that they've expanded upon them, adding the option to make Sims engaged from new. That's all!
Glowing eyes is a layer over... both eyes. Both eyes share a single space on the Sim texture map, as I showed above. CC heterochromia involves creating a new eye mesh, putting it on top of one of the Sim's actual eyes, and assigning it a texture space separate from the actual eye space. Because the Sim texture map is quite…
The problem is that you'd (still) affect almost every custom eye ever created. If they made that change now, after almost a decade, imagine the can of worms they'd open, especially for modders. It wouldn't be worth it.
That's not what I (or anyone here) was arguing for. That method still requires the use of CAS and adds extra steps which would be completely avoided if new saves started in the Manage Worlds screen. At least try and acknowledge the arguments people are making.
This is an issue with how badly Sims 3 is optimized. Still confused as to why you brought it up, though, considering this thread primarily concerns a Sims 4 issue. Sure, but what you're conveniently omitting is that those games don't (appear to) offer the option to immediately play with pre-made characters without having…
I don't even mind the makeovers, honestly, and – for the most part – the premades they made over look considerably better than they did originally. But ultimately, they're just cosmetic and still don't have relationships with anyone aside from themselves.
My game used to take over an hour to load, and maybe a bit less than that if it wasn't the first time. Now it takes about a minute or two on my new PC. It's not something top-of-the-line either; it's a refurbed HP office PC! Old (more like fossil) PC: i5-3210M, integrated graphics, 16GB DDR3, 500GB HDD. New PC: i5-8500,…
