  • You know how someone else posted that weeds should spawn over time? Perhaps also when water puddles appear, weeds could spawn because grass and weeds grow faster when there's water. :D
  • Yeah a Gardener would be pretty cool to bring back from TS2. It's too bad it couldn't be included in store content for gardening or just landscaping. (like the lawn mowing idea) But if they were to bring it back...it would probably have to be in a patch or even an EP. Well I'm getting off topic, aren't I? I made a forum…
  • I like your idea of spawning weeds! Then it would be much easier to tell that it's time to mow the lawn.
  • Maybe something like these: Those are just an idea. They don't really have to look like that. Plus, I think the ones like the second picture should be more expensive than the ones in the first picture.
  • And if they do solve it, maybe there will be lawn mowers? It is true, people will probably complain about mowing on rocks, sand, and etc. But, I do think it will make the game a bit more realistic, even though it has its ups and downs with the painted terrain. :?
  • Well, I'm actually trying something different. Instead of making totally rich and fabulous celebrities, I've decided to make a Sim that would make money by Moonlighting in bars. I always have to get her there on time (as soon as the bar opens) so she can make as much money as possible! My poor Sim barely has enough to pay…
  • Well maybe it could be limited to a Residential Lot, if that's even possible. And you know how the sprinkler waters only a certain area? maybe that could be the same with the lawn mower. Then your Sims won't have to spend the entire day mowing the lawn. Also, then players can put the lawn mower to mow a specific area…
  • Yes well I've already cancelled out that "seeing the grass grow part" Even though the Sims won't actually be cutting the grass, it will basically still have the same outcome. They'll still get the moodlets and the animations, only the actual grass growing won't show.
  • I think you should post this here, if you haven't: http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/jforum.page?module=posts&action=insert&forum_id=208
  • That makes a lot of sense! Then other Sims won't get the "Lawn Needs to be Mowed" Moodlet. :D
  • Hahaha don't worry. I completely understand your point of view. It may probably tend to make the game lag a bit. Maybe leave out seeing how much the grass grows? Perhaps the Sims could just get the "Lawn Needs to be Mowed" Moodlet about a week or so after the lawn has been mowed.
  • OOOO!! That's a really smart idea! :D
  • I do agree that mowing the lawn would be time-consuming. But perhaps if they include it in the game (even though the probably won't  ) you could use buy a Lifetime Happiness Reward like "Forever Mowed Lawn" or something like that. or maybe your maid or butler would do it for you. That's what I would like to see. A…
  • Visit this page for a program that's free, and it makes your game run faster. (Game Booster) It is from http://www.razerzone.com/ and PewDiePie uses some of their products if you're wondering. :) Btw, the website is my website. (elisiasimspage) Here's the link: http://elisiasimspage.weebly.com/gaming.html
  • Yes, I hope so as well. :-) They should think of at least ONE. But hey, what do I know. I'm just a Simmer.
  • Ugh well that sucks. :( Thanks for the notice!
  • Ok thank you for your help! I'll try that now.
  • My problem is almost the same. So my female sim gave birth to twin girls, and then a few days later, she and her husband traveled to France for 9 Sim days. When they returned, one of the twins was missing! But, she is still in the Relationships/Household "tab." She is also still on the family tree. I contacted an EA…
  • I also have a similar problem. My sims left for a trip to France, and when they came back, one of their daughter's was missing. (She was left at home.) Even the EA Advisors couldn't help...
