Yes it’s my favourite expansion pack I always take my sims to the festivals, currently have households living in that world and I’m not fussed about building my own flats and like the system in city living.

I do this gradually by building new lots when new packs come out and then upload them to the gallery so when I need to create a new save I can just download them back into that new save. It has taken years though and still don’t have all my own lots for the earlier packs.

I need to see more info ie reviews, livestream of the pack etc. The core gameplay of this with building apartments and what I can make sense of is what we in the uk call a semi detached house (I have no idea what a duplex is to me it sounds a bit like a semi detached house). Also the landlord stuff doesn’t appeal to me.…

It’s a mixture between mt komorebi and henford upon bagley. Both worlds I mainly have my sims live in. My new “vacation” world is tartosa as I have no sims live in that world at all and only have rentals or community lots ie a beach, park, spa, lounge etc

I play each household until that mini story arc is over whether that be a sim completes a degree, infants/toddlers age up, a specific goal I’ve set is achieved or I get bored and change household. I play with ageing off so sometimes the calendar also dictates which household I play

Usually I build my own from scratch. I’ve never used a floor plan. Sometimes I will renovate ea builds or the occasional gallery one I’ve downloaded and play in them if it makes sense for my game.

For the first time I have no idea as in my head I’m seeing a family community which is what we got with growing together. Except the world is so empty. This for me feels like when they released the teaser for eco lifestyle where I really don’t know what to expect and I like it. I hope whatever the next ep is looks better…

I’m noticing so much lag now in my game sending sims to school and work will lag by about 5-6 hours. I have to save and go into the neighbourhood and reload in and it resets the time only for it to happen again. This has occurred since the last 2 patches and I play vanilla. Normally I despise asking this but do you have mods or cc? I play vanilla and have never heard of this unless the neighbourhood stories is switched on.

This is an interesting read. As someone not from the USA I remember when I visited Las Vegas and told on a tour it snows there in the winter. I found it hard to believe that a desert place can get snow. When I went to Vegas it was at Halloween and over 30C which is hotter then most summers where I live.

Toddlers are ok just make sure they have enough toys to play with to build their skills and drag a plate of food from the fridge for them to eat from. This usually fulfils their needs. All adult sims need to do is potty train them until level 2 and bathe them. Infants are different and so much harder to manage they make…

I’ve tried everything people have suggested and still I keep getting white ceilings in my basements. It’s not a mod or cc issue as before the update I took my mods out and I have no cc. Also I haven’t put the mods back into my game yet as they were career mods for a different household. Maybe it’s a bug for me.

Same here I’ve struggled to understand it and even tried it with move objects on cheat and still can’t paint ceilings so I’ve given up for now

Can anyone else not add ceiling tiles to basements? I can only add them if it has a room above it and those that don’t I can’t add the tiles. I’ve not seen anyone mention this.

My most used worlds are selvadorada, mt komorebi and granite falls. I’m now using copperdale a lot for a vacation world and like it a lot using the world that way. Agree with all of this. I’m a big fan of making the gameplay easier use the gameplay mat, the light thingy on the cots and for toddlers make them eat food from the fridge and once they are at level 2 potty that are good to go

Also really big tip with infants to make gameplay easier if you have growing together just use the play mat. They can play and sleep on it. That way all your sim needs to do is feed and bathe them. Infants can’t play in their beds/pens which is so annoying

It’s made even worse as I’m playing a sim who can’t go out. I’m doing a mutant ninja turtle gameplay so currently have the 4 boys as infants and their adopted dad living in a “sewer” in san myshuno and none of them can go out.
