Organized mods folder, using Better Exceptions to help locate problems, and just accepting that it's part of the cost of getting to play a game in a way that's more what I want. :)

In all the previous Sims games, I'd make between 1-4 sims, giving them a backstory as I created them. Single mom raising her kid alone, or a gay couple raising an adopted kid, random stuff like that. Totally! I always find myself wishing there was some way to copy them. Especially if you are making a bunch of sims at once and you want them to have the same outfit for some reason (like if you're roleplaying as a cult or something, haha), it would really come in handy.

I have both. I think I find myself using the Patio stuff more, but that could just be my playstyle. As far as the new gameplay objects go, I think I prefer the hot tubs to the buffet tables/fountains. But to each their own! :)

Absolutely! Hiking and fishing are great social activities IRL, it's silly to not be able to chat while doing them in the game.
