I think it is a bug as I am only having problems with one specific lot. Plus, I feel like more people would be talking about this if it was happening to everyone.
Yup. I can change it if someone owns the lot, but neither works for unowned residential rental lots. I guess I will just have to have someone buy it so I can change it. That seems like a lot of extra work though.
Focusing on gameplay improvements I would like to see, relationships are too easy. There should be one sided relationships that generate unique reactions, socials, and animations. Unrequited love and crushes would be great. There should be a chemistry system that makes it really hard for a couple with no chemistry to have…
I checked the gallery. If you search hashtags for trailer, you can find an impressive remake of the Tiny Living couple. However, the versions of the Eco Living girl that are up right now all look wrong. Your right, it can take a long time. We got the Maschino stuff sims like two or three packs later. I hope that doesn't…
Thanks for finding the info! I thought it was in the livestream, but I do follow the Gurus pretty closely on twitter. I am just glad that this feature exists. I hope they expand upon in.
That was the best part about these roles, they aren't for NPCs. Knox has one of the roles and the civil engineer has another (I forgot her name) and they both live in the town. It makes me think that it wouldn't be too hard to adjust other roles too, but I am glad to know there is a mod out there that already does that.…
When dumpster diving is advertised as a major feature, you know you are in trouble. Wasn't that included in the basegame for TS3? I also do not like the term "maker".... I can see why they didn't use inventor because there isn't much inventing going on. I really would have loved if a sim could invent a car or anything…
I would, and maybe I did, vote for an eco friendly stuff pack years ago for the first community stuff pack because I liked solar panels in TS3, but I do not see how this could possibly be a fleshed out expansion pack without recycling ideas already in TS4. I am so confused by this decision. It is a major let down and I do…
I am hoping for cars. I don't see what other big features this pack could include and I do not want it to include farm life stuff because I want a proper pack for all of that with a new farm town with spacious and flat farm lots. I would love to have a hippy commune vibe with glass blowing, jewelry making, and a pottery…
The problem I have with this way of playing is that I want my college town/college to be populated with my sims that go there, but if I am constantly unenrolling them and sending them home, this won't happen unless I turn all the housing into residential lots (which bypasses a big feature of the pack). Because I don't want…
University has always been my favorite pack and while I have enjoyed this pack more than I thought I would, I can't get over the lack of greek life. Sororities and fraternities should have been added and new game play (like pledging) with it. The organization system could have easily accomplished this and a couple of big…
After playing, I don't understand why they couldn't have made fraternities and sororities as organizations. The organization system would be perfect for greek life. Instead of having a status of new member, it could start with a pledge. They would have to perform tasks (like doing the existing members homework or…
I am a rotational player. Is that why I can't enroll any of my other sims in university after enrolling the first? My other sims turned in their applications almost a week ago and still have not heard back. So annoying! Do they have to go one at a time? How am I supposed to populate the world if they can only go one at a…
In the livestream, they sent two sims to a dorm together. So they were technically roommates, but they were both playable. I am not sure, but I have a feeling that if you do it the other way, let it be autopopulated by the game, that you can't control those roommates. I don't have the game yet though, so I would love…
Wow! I did not expect that much advantage. I am really pleased with these boosts. Pkus, the difference in distinguished and regular degrees (and even in GPA) is a nice touch! I am getting excited. :)
I like this guess! I was pleasantly surprised by the annoucement of the swimmable areas in the new world and it would be nice if that was expanded upon. I am trying not to expect anything too big and this kind of feature feels just about right.
I don't mind the number of lots. I am pleasantly surprised there are so many dorms; that gives my sims a lot of housig options. What I do mind is the size of the lots. 30 x 20 is the biggest lot (unless you are willing to sacrafice the library and use that as residential) and I really wanted to make a Greek Row of at least…
They have completely ignored the greek system, so yes. Unfortunately, there aren't even lots big enough in the world to have a proper size sorority/fraternity house. I wonder if I can bulldoze any of the dorms or if they all have shells like apartment lofts.
It is really weird! You would think at least one game changer would give a date. All I can think is that the gamechangers are being held to a really specific and strict contract.
