I recently re-installed ts3 after having a bad time with it a while back (bc I had no idea you had to tweak the game to get it to work on modern computers). I followed this video by acottonsock and now my game runs like a dream!
After a Murphy bed incident and subsequent inheritance, my sim moved to Sunlit Tides to start her new life, unexpectedly with a baby! She must admit she did end up having a nice time with that man. It took me forever to decide on the new town, since most of them seemed so interesting! I'm also eager to explore all the new…
After following an amazing tutorial on YT, I finally figured out how to run ts3 on my laptop without having it melt, and I'm having such a nice time :) I decided to play my starter sim Maria Aguilar in an alternate reality where she made a very different initial choice, instead of accepting an inheritance, she decided to…
I do wish the game was more realistic, but not in the sense that I want cars or specific animations. I would like the game to incorporate more chaotic situations, or unexpected bad events, in a way that resembles more real life. (unexpected deaths, your sims' partner autonomously leaving out of the blue or leading a double…
I see a cognitive dissonance here. On the one hand they make the game more and more PG at every iteration, yet they want to incorporate multiplayer? have they never played an online multiplayer game before? people can be absolutely terrible in that setting, especially to women and non-white ppl.
I didn't know you were allowed to place a tent anywhere (I guess since it doesn't let you drag it out of your inventory I assumed you just couldn't place it). So my sims have been on some camping trips :)
Saves I used to have only one save with aging turned off. But with time I learned that I didn't like it that way because I get bored of seing the same sims. So now I have three saves. I have my original save, which is where my more scripted stories happen, but meanwhile I've turned aging back on again and I play…
Mortimer died before I got around to play that household, RIP. Then, one of the sims from my legacy family started dating Alexander in their teens. I then sent Bella on a "work mission" to spy on Vlad, he caught her and wiped her memory. She somehow landed in Strangerville, where she met the crew that was investigating the…
for me it changes from time to time. at first my favorite thing was gardening (I guess using features from seasons) and I used to play legacy style. and I liked making my legacy family do impressive things, like maxing careers and reach particular milestones. but that bored me quite quickly... then, I got more into…
My favourite sim so far was a scientist, really liked that career. Especially in combination with Strangerville's story, I just pretend it was part of the job. In general, the active ones are my favorite :)
back in the day, me and my cousin would play ts2 all the time. but now as an adult I don't know anyone who's into the franchise. back when covid started, a close friend of mine got ts4 for free on origin but he didn't like the game.
I feel like without my mods I could technically still enjoy the game, but I would rather do other things in that case. I constantly use LittleMissSam's mods, mods that improve the club system (I use clubs for many many things that, in particular, wouldn't work with a 8 sim limit), wonderful whims for the fertility,…
@SPARKY1922 exactly and I will make both locations haunted residential lots with some ghost as a resident. Then going to the cementery or to that abandonned house will tecnically be a visit to said ghosts. Oh those mods sound amazing actually, I will take a look.
