  • :s :'( I took a nap so I could be up at midnight. If it's somehow not fair to let some people have it at midnight their time then it's also not fair to make some people wait an extra 13 hours. It's also kind of silly to have 3 million people try to download all at once. It would make more sense to have the downloads spread…
  • Okay, I see why I was missing it. Under the menu it's called "release notes" which I always took to be notes on the ep's or stuff packs. It does work for me, took me right to the patch notes. Well, not right to. It was actually really, really slow. But it worked. And that's all I want. That and my own flying sleigh. B) J/s.
  • Ah ha! So there is an easier way. :o Thank you very much. Happy non-denominationally specific celebration! :D
  • Two years ago I might have voted Fail. But tbh it's just getting better and better. The additions and new ep's, stuff packs and game packs are really good (finally) and I am starting to feel very at home with the sims 4. I still miss a lot of sims 3 ideas like boats, custom patterns and a broader range of occult sims just…
  • Small appliances disappear when placed on some counters.
  • Do you have any idea what you're asking?! You may as well be like Air or Water! :D I played my vampire for days and days straight. I didn't have so much passion for this iteration of sims since camping. That being said, I wanted a new vacation destination for years! JA has been a huge focus since release right up to…
  • Shades of my sims 1 days when I compulsively updated my CC back-ups. Does anyone else remember Ines (bakery stuff) ... or the magic mirror and toadstool? :D
  • I've found snow to sparkle differently from storm to storm. Maybe it's dependent on how big the ice crystals are. But I've seen the snow over the woods glitter like a billion, billion flakes of glitter had been pasted to everything. Aaaaand then it gets warm, snow turns to slush, it's not white and pretty anymore and…
  • I just love you all... so darned much. ;) It would be awesome if Caitlin (the order of the good death) was a cameo sim.
  • Okay, but here's what I really want to know... Will my sims track snow into the house? :D I really hope so. My maid has been a little lazy, lately.
  • I don't know why but this made me genuinely laugh out loud. :p I do the exact same thing with building. It happens in its own save. :) ~~~ I've usually got 3 to 5 saves going. Legacy with kids, Legacy without kids, Legacy granddaughter (vampire, night hunter, whatever you want to call it... at least she's a snappy dresser…
  • Haha, I'm going to recreate the warcraft ingame holidays. :D
  • I'm going to set the game to summer and have a giant cookout/pool party. I think fireworks will be in order as well as lots and lots of desserts, the lawn water slide and maybe even a puppet show depending how many kids I can corral. ;)
  • I'm so beside myself with joy I can barely function! There's a serious possibility of me floating away if I go outside. :D I want a snowman so badly. And piles of autumn leaves to jump in. And I can only just manage to contain myself over having a bunny event in the spring. But the best... my all time super deluxe A+ #1…
  • The only thing that makes actual laundry day exciting to even a slight degree is the prospect of getting junk food out of the vending machine. But I'm old now and can't eat junk food out of vending machines. Are there even vending machines in the sims 4? I own it and all I just never really noticed before. Either way it…
  • Thank you, all! I had blamed poorly prepared pufferfish when I first noticed all the death. Since I have no proof otherwise I'm still doing so! :D I got a bunch of headstones/urns out of it and should have some lovely ghosts on my vampire's lot. So, in my own morbid and deeply strange way it all worked out. I guess? ;)
  • Toddlers came as a patch. That had to be more complicated than a ladder and some spiral steps would be. ;) Even better, patches are free. :D
  • I'd love to see dangerous options start popping up on our existing every day items. Being able to light a fire wouldn't be nearly as dangerous as recklessly lighting a fire. Things could be done "without caring" and "too fast". And so on. And so forth. Sims ought to have debuffs of all sorts for injuries incurred and I'd…
  • omg, thank you. Please don't throw magic/magyck/magyk (et al) into the danger pack. Lets leave it to death! And danger!
  • Many years ago I worked at a cemetery. It was lovely. The primary features of the funeral parlor that people would see were the lush plants and flowers, thick carpets and plush curtains. There were very nice couches and chairs, of course. And in most cases they were and are high end. Very high end. Death is exceptionally…
  • I can do without the burglars but the used and not so fabulous items would be great for putting finishing touches on my abandoned properties. I need tangled, dead garden objects and worn paint. Damaged foundations, slept on furniture, dinged dressers, mirrors with a dark spot. Also, furniture so bad it's covered with a…
  • I was just wondering if the dangerous stuff pack would give us "better" ghosts. Since with death comes ghosties I'd love to see them develop some new interactions. Perhaps being able to possess fellow sims to force them to clean, cook, fix or even garden and tend bar. I wonder if that's within the bounds of a stuff pack,…
  • Okay, the first thing I need to say is that I was just thinking about sim deaths and people I know that have a death wish and how cool it would be to create sims with a death wish. So, that's my first thought. (desire) A trait like death wish and/or daredevil that make sims reckless and perhaps clumsy. Everything they do…
  • I'm not so sure about that, though. Saying you're being forced to buy the skill even though you don't want the items flies in the face of every other sort of purchase. If I want an online book so I can read one chapter, I still have to buy the entire book. Or, in terms of real life, if I am buying a coat but I can't find…
  • I've never really "played" a vampire before in the sims. I've been playing since 2002 or 2003. Except to get their powers, I saw no point. And notorious cheater that I am, I always knew I could go back and forth whenever I wanted. Like, literally. I didn't bite or feed off other sims and I rarely even used the more…
  • Life Stories. I had gotten a three pack kind of deal, buy two get one or something like that. So I picked up pets, castaway and life stories. I fell so in love with Castaway and have to this point played it through at least ten times. Even though it gets wonky after the story is done, I have had multiple castaway families…
  • I'm usually a very benevolent god figure. I mean, I hardly turned anyone into a frog when I had witches in TS3. This is the first really power hungry sim I've had. The dev teams did such a great job with vampires it's almost too much fun to abuse my power!
  • Oh, absolutely yes. Unicorns, too, please. <3 o:)
  • Hm, maybe springy animals to ride, a ball pit, little coin operated cars and motorcycles like you see outside stores. A blanket with play/sleep/pretend options built in. I always used to take a blanket for the toddlers when we'd go on our picnics. Oh yeah, and picnic baskets! Picnicking with a little kid is one of the most…
  • <3 This is a lovely idea! There are still quite a few traits missing, Empathy is definitely one of them! <3
