  • A couple of years ago I would have been super hyped about a new game but now I don't know. Hearing that it will be a game playable on mobile sounds limited to me. I know the new phones have more GB's than my first computer I played Sims1 on, but it makes it sound even more like a "Doll house" game. Where's the challenge…
  • When I went to school we studied subjects in what was called "blocks". Geography, history and religion being one. Each were different classes with different teachers but they all tied into each other. Religion and history being the two I disliked the most until one day we got a different teacher in those two subjects. What…
  • If you have the Fitness Stuff pack they can fall off the rock climbing wall too. It happened recently in my game. It was an elder and unfortunately I don't remember her skill level. It wasn't my active Sim so I don't know her emotion buffs either.
  • @Admiral8Q Thank you for checking!!! ...but hmm...makes me wonder if it's a mod I have that causes the trouble then. I was checking the offspring's in different families and I noticed that the dads are listed as such in CAS mode. I don't have MCCC installed. Thanks again for taking the time to check! I'm off to checking my…
  • I couldn't vote because Eco Living is not listed. :) :p If you play like me and want challenge in your game, that pack together with Country Living makes for a great combo in my opinion. I love the community lots and have one in every world. I especially like the community garden where visiting Sims are active. The voting…
  • Black Friday sales are on now until Nov.30 Cottage living is marked down 38% but game packs only 20%.
  • This exactly! Although I enjoyed the open world in Sims3 I also found that the worlds were too big. I like to fill my neighborhood with related Sims and the worlds were a bit overwhelming. What I really really miss is the customization of the worlds, I can't stand the prebuilt houses in Sim4. It ruins so many worlds!
  • I like fast and frequent! Not everyone enjoys every pack and according to EA the ones that buy all packs are a minority. I don't see glitches in my game either. ( lucky me :) ) My personal belief is that a new game is around the corner and they want to finish up what they have going before an announcement. The "8 more…
  • You have to start a repeal process at your mailbox. It takes 5 signatures to repeal it. Unfortunately it only works for the Sims living in the neighborhood and you have to know them a little bit for them to be positive. I found that chatting with them and then ask for a signature is the easiest way. Your friends will sign…
  • Sims1 had bunnies that messed with your crop. Yay! I hope they are coming back!
  • I wonder if they're playing with words and the bonding refers to U.S Wine tax bonds. It wasn't too long ago everyone thought we were getting a new world based on France. I have totally forgotten how that rumor started, maybe someone can fill me in. I take a French inspired vineyard any day! :p :)
  • I spend hours and hours in build/buy mode and definitely like it a lot more than live mode. Sims4 is the first game I haven't added CC content to. ( played all ) It makes my builds easier to upload without CC and since I rarely play them I don't feel I need the CC. Sims4 is also the first game I have tons of game mods. I…
  • You're right
  • I don't - and I could live with options but not neutral.
  • or for the team to switch older game texts to be gender neutral like current pack dialoged it would be impactful for those of us who are still unable to truly feel represented in the game by having our sims selves misgendered. ^ This! We all have to embrace your difference but it's okay for you not to embrace ours and if…
  • Disagreeing is fine. I don't know if you saw my previous post. Adding real life flags is trying to be politically correct in my opinion. There has never been anything "real life" included in the Sims before. Had they been flags that insinuated pride flags it would have been a different matter. What is next when it comes to…
  • It's not about "who". At least that is what I think. It's about represented as a whole when it comes to creating Sims. It bothers me that the game is becoming political - as in American politics. I'm not ashamed to say that my skin color and hair color is not all that well represented, and what someone else said, male…
  • I somewhat agree with @Cinebar. Sims4 is the first game to include real life flags not "simlish" flags. Previously the real was left to CC creators. I like that they strive towards "neutral", the clothing update for example but the idea that everyone should be represented opened up a can of worms I think. There's a whole…
  • I remember reading somewhere where she also praised The Sims Online. ( I can't link because I can't remember where ) I innocently played that game for awhile until I realized what was going on behind the scenes. I would not let my child play such a game!
  • I have been rebuilding the Willow Creek commercial area for my new save. When my Sim went to check out the new yoga studio it was evening and winter. I was so pleased with how pretty it looked with the snow. ( I had only seen the street in build mode and summertime )
  • I use the whims all the time when I play but I x out the unrelated ones like "buy a bee box". If they were to add more whims it most likely be more of the same unrelated to my Sim. I would like to see them spend time on personalities instead.
  • I agree with you about the marketing scheme but I also think that we as players had a hand in it becoming this way. I remember back in the Sims1 days when groups and individuals sold CC for $5/mos to download from their site or a set for a $2 "donation". It is understandable to me that EA wanted a slice of that cake. You…
  • I don't care much for doing laundry but the build/buy items I use all the time.
  • Well...I am a rare Simmer ( on this forum ) that started to play Sims1 when I was an adult which I think changes the way I play the game and also my expectations. What I hear most people wish for here is a dollhouse/family play style which I find boring.I think Sims4 has done quite well to please me except for the sims…
  • For me the personalities comes first, but I would also like to be rewarded and/or surprised in my game depending on how I play it. Does anyone remember Drew Carey coming by if your party was a success, the ghost at the campfire, the roaches, the clown...? I think the game has turned into a dollhouse more and more which I…
  • Oh they're fun! I got the "get married in 7 days" and worked hard for my then student to find a suitable husband. She managed to get married and I think it was $7,000, maybe $5,000. A short time after it was the "buy a lottery ticket" day. She did, didn't win but her husband won a mill! :D Another fun one is someone asking…
  • I would like something in between those two options. I think the size of Sims4 (basegame) worlds are fine but what really bothers me are all the background buildings. Get famous is a prime example, a totally useless world in my opinion. Right next to the buildable lots are some premade ones which means you're stuck…
