Selecting something by right clicking was totally useless. I do realize they are a small team and will be changing things before release but at the moment it is not good.
I downloaded Vivaland Dream House from steam. Being a builder I was happy to try any new game, but it is not easy to build with. Selecting any object to try to change colour or size is very hit and miss. And even allowing for the learning curve, I think it needs more work. And it did crash while I was trying to build the…
I have been using copy and paste to build units since the EP was first announced, I have had no problems with any of the saves until the last update. Now I have one game that has an error, after my sim tried to travel somewhere.
I am not really skilled, but I just keep trying. I have learnt so much recently (just from trying to copy house plans). Your welcome to download anything I make for the gallery (Lori57), and change it to suit yourself. I have bulldozed more houses than you would imagine. :) I will upload the whole lot as soon as I can…
I have built a couple of apartment blocks on 20 x 15 lots, One of them has 3 bedrooms in each of the 4 apartments. It is possible, and I am playing BFF in one of them and they seem ok with the space. You do need to build a basement for the shared space though. And try to cut the space the stairs take up. Elevators would be…
Your welcome. If it wasn't for you {and others} posting the comments from other websites I would never hear any Sims news. BTW: I did try just making the rooms smaller, but the rooms would have been unusable.
The original building was obviously made for a large block, it looses the fantastic sprawling look when you make it smaller. Best I can come up with is adding an extra floor, but you loose the original layout completely. You will have to save the original for a different world. I have uploaded Sims1010 Reno {30 x 40} to…
I can make it to suit a smaller block, and I have been building on blocks as small as 15 x 20. I will be uploading them all as soon as the pack releases and I can see how the individual unit settings work. I will work on it in the morning when I get up. Strangely enough it is easy to make them on small blocks. 😃
Your very welcome, I have tons of flats built so far, I am not as mobile as I used to be and Sims keeps me out of trouble. I am waiting to finish my builds when the game releases, and I can section them into units. Then I will upload them all. @FatTribble23 I like your units. :)
I really liked this trailer, I understood the voices and it gave a lot of information about being a landlord. They could make more like this before For Rent releases. A tour guide encouraging us to visit Tomarang, by showing us around town would be good.
What about the plain window that came with Snowy Escape, It is just a plain square and it comes in white, you can place it halfway up a wall. I really like your units. :)
Some of my houses say I used bb.moveobjects cheat. but all I have done is use the ALT key to move some of the objects away from curtains or into a corner better. I never use the full bb.moveobjects cheat. Sometimes looking at curtains clipping into other objects is annoying. I also make curtains smaller as well.
I made a Gated Community for the rich and famous {64 lot}. The 4 houses are not as flash as they are used to, but I will have more lots to put Sims on. I have turned half the houses in the game into multiple dwellings. Even the smallest block can have at least a basement flat under the house. And I have made some multi…
Since day one. They reeled me in with the cas demo, before that I swore I was going to stick with Sims 3. And that was about 3 computers and a lot of grey hairs ago.
Horses can't go up steps, so the easiest way to keep them out is have some steps on your house, I don't know if goats and sheep can climb stairs but they don't come into my homes so maybe it works for them too. A ranch hand helps with socializing with all the animals, I got the "free services" reward trait, so that helps.…
@puzzlezaddict helped me with the specs for the computer I am using now, and it is the best computer ever. If you have a choice of two (i5 or i7) always go with the biggest, if you can afford it, it does save you money in the long run. Remember they could keep adding to sims 4 for quite awhile.
My plan is to own a small ranch where I have a horse, sheep and a goat. And I want to make Nectar, this started me setting up the ranch and getting my fruit to the perfect stage. This also made me try to find alternative shelter for the plants (greenhouses cost a lot). So I made a tunnel greenhouse, placing a gabled roof…
