Indeed, I remember after the first gameplay kit a lot of people had great ideas for other gameplay items that would probably never be chosen to be included into a pack but could be made into a kit. Like different types of kitchen items, or stuff for the garden like lawnmowers... Now to be fair (I often try these days to…
It's difficult to tell because their packs are so different in terms of focus and quality... how do you compare Growing Together with Discover University or another expansion pack before they were making kits? but I think I agree, packs still seem to have about the same quality and the same amount of content (gameplay,…
There will only be kits this season, they tend to be pretty creative with their kits but it's not a lot of new content to play with during spring if you only play the sims.
Country roads, take me home To the place I belong The spring roadmap is here Brought to you by a sims4 gnome But it is just 4 kits in a row So not much reason to cheer
I have no idea. EA/Maxis updated teens recently with High School Years by adding some new features and also changed some of their voice lines and animations and I feel that's the limit of what they were able/wanted to do. They also gave children some more things with Growing Together. I was looking forward to HSY but I was…
Thanks for sharing. I'm surprised that they talked about the metaverse in a positive way because it's not going very well for that right now. I'm very skeptical when they are saying that The Sims will go up against the giants of Fortnite, because if EA/Maxis are serious about this approach then they better be ready to…
EA's Chief Operating Officer said several years ago that games these days are often lasting longer with a lifespan of 10-15 years. There are some successful games out there that have lasted that long but there are also newer and successful games out there that proves the opposite. EA/Maxis seems to have focused a little…
If we look at last year they didn't announce anything until May so we might not hear much until then, we might see some patches and SDX drops. I'm not sure when we will see the next pack, they probably have something planned for summer. I don't think we will see the sims 5 until 2025, my guess is that they might go into…
They tend to release less content during fall, so maybe we will see something, or we will just see more marketing events and behind the sims summits. They might work on a preview build so they can showcase a new feature that they have planned with Project Rene, maybe what their world will look like and how it will work or…
The neighborhoods in that world does seem rather large and the lots far away from each other. I prefer smaller neighborhoods myself, I think having the lots closer to each other is better, you can have specific theme and you can have things like playgrounds, plants, fishing spots and collectibles closer to the lots. They…
Too early to tell, so I might vote later if we will see more from these games and this poll will still be around. All three games have the potential to be really good, what I'm most excited for is what we will be able to do with these games and what the community will do. I hope that we will see a wide variety of people. I…
I'm seeing people from the Cities Skylines community being excited about it, so I think we will probably see a mix of reactions from people from different communities as the game is being developed. It feels like the life simulator community have been mostly restricted to the sims where people play mostly the sims and…
I'm hoping for cars myself. I'm skeptical about how they would make hotels, it feels like a pack that would require better working NPC's that are actually working properly and also rooms that can be assigned. The game doesn't seem to make any distinction between rooms, sims treat bathrooms like kitchens etc. so I'm not…
Looks like saves could be impacted as they are developing the game during Early Access, so that's probably good to know. That can be both negative...and a positive in my opinion, sometimes it's fun to start over and try new features as they are being developed, reminds me of playing Subnautica when it was early access.
The pre order exclusive seems to be only for epic games store, but it looks like Early Access will be available on both Epic Games Store and Steam on September 12th. I'm going to get it on steam, I prefer to have my games on steam, and if this will be supported like cities skylines then this game will most likely have…
Open World, Life Simulator, Free exploration, Real conversations, Go shopping, Advance through jobs and careers, control anyone at any time, take direct control, customize your world, tell your stories, character creator, lot creator, town creator, conversation creator, event creator, item creator, shop creator, object…
The menu is causing a lot of lag so there needs to be some reorganization and optimization for it, or maybe that's just not possible and simply too many recipes have been added to the game.
I have kinda the same gripes now as I had back in 2014. I have only played a bit of The Sims 3 so I can't compare to any earlier iterations. I loved the customization and how creative I could be with sims and their home lot back in 2014 and I still like it now and how it has been improved. What I didn't like was that jobs…
My first impression is that I expected the "cims" (I think that's what they are called) to have more detail, they look rather small and low detailed, it could be because the game looks very ambitious in terms of scale, it basically looks like cities skylines but you are able to build the houses in detail, which you can't…
I'm not sure how much more I want to invest in The Sims 4, both time and money, because I feel that it's not giving me a lot back and the game feels really old now for me. I booted it up yesterday and I had forgotten how poorly the game actually runs compared to other games that I have played recently. I feel that my sims…
It was a mix of new and updated game mechanics which could really improve the game, but some things also felt like base game content from 2014. * CAS: 2/5 The clothes didn't feel very special, there was also low resolution textures and cuts in the clothing. * Build/Buy: 3/5 The new items for infants seemed good, the other…
I feel that this pack and the new updates could make or break the game. It could enhance your gameplay and make your sims feel more unique or it could make you feel that your sims are no longer your sims with the game suggesting different traits, sims having different compatibilities etc.
Positives: Infants seems to work really well, from what I could see. I like that the pack and the base game updates seems to really update and enhance the game. The new systems will probably make sims will feel more unique and hopefully it will be more fun to play different households. Negatives: The game suggesting things…
EA Play is quite a good subscription if you play a variety of games from EA ($29,99/year) and I have it because it's part of Xbox Game Pass for Xbox and PC which allows you to play and try a lot of different games instead of buying them. I think all that you are getting when it comes to the Sims though is a 10% discount on…
City Living, I was looking forward to sims living in a large city and also living in apartments. I really liked their trailer with the Teagan & Sara song. I also remember feeling that the wait for the release of Discover University was quite long, I think it was because a lot of content creators that had early access made…
