Thank you for helping. I tried 3 browsers and various computers. Eventually I got it out of the cart by adding it as a favorite and then going into the cart and unfavoriting it. I don’t know why that worked but now it’s gone and I’m happily shopping.

I work my Sims hard too, but every degree??? I’m trying to imagine what traits your poor unsuspecting Sim must have to cope! Thank you so much! I’ll definitely add the mod as I love playing rags to riches style games. I was so happy to discover that there were things to salvage a few days ago. My poor Sim went nuts improving his handiness skill so he could repair the machine.

So... in the NVidia control panel, the framerate is set at 60. Last night the framerate in play stayed under 60. Graphics were the typical slightly choppy Sims 3 look but the game ran without issue and no fans starting up like we’re about to launch into hyperdrive. Restarted the computer this morning. OMGOMGOMG Sorry guys, it was 600, I’ve altered it to 60 now and am rechecking the in game fps now. Hope I didn’t give anyone a heart attack! Laptop seems to have forgiven me and my carelessness at least. Luckily I didn’t play on it today yet.

I did find the dxdiag report yesterday and pasted it into a text note. I’m not home right now to get it from the laptop. I also found the NVidia CP and was able to set the frame rate to 600. So my laptop arrived and I got everything installed. Played a test game for an hour and had the fps on It never went above 400.

@SuzyCue72 how do I tell if the new laptop has dual graphics? It should arrive tomorrow and I expect to spend a fair bit of time getting set up ready to play. Also what would I be looking for in game to judge if the framerate needed to be altered/an alteration had worked? This isn’t something I’ve had to consider before.…

Are we able to delete household items (even if it’s impossible to sell them)? I have several lower versions of the same item - yoga mat, microwave, guitar etc.

My quests ended after the 2 relationship stories. Did I finish? It just stopped. Nothing new popped up. EDIT: was the bunny the end? I found it in my inventory, but still getting notifications to finish the easter event.

This is very true. :smiley: If starting fresh I wouldn’t put resources into certain things - babies, basic kitchen cabinets, starting several friendships with same story.

A tub as a promised and delivered prize for completing 9 levels of Ducky Lameness would’ve taken the sting out of all the other annoyances. Why do we need multiple speedos with only 2 people per household and no tub??.?.? Next event needs to be much better thought out and worth playing. I’m done with this one now.

I too forsee the inventory runneth over problem ahead. Why would I buy a new kitchen if the old one is going to clog my inventory? It doesn’t motivate me to spend money, which I assume is the main EA business goal. Why would I keep buying anything knowing my house has an items limit?
