  • Unfortunately there was a Guru tweeted response to this suggestion saying that people thinking in that direction were "getting colder".
  • Like @Simmingal said, I really hope those items in pieces can be constructed. They are right that we'll all be pretty mad if we got the heart bed only as a broken down decoration. The description makes it sound like that's the case. It also sounds like there might be more favorites in the pack that aren't shown here, since…
  • I love having the a search feature, I've wanted one since Sims 2. But if you don't remember what things are called, it's worthless. There are so many things to look through too, it's easy to miss things. I've definitely spent ridiculous amounts of time searching through the catalogue.
  • That happens. *shrug* Hopefully you can get everything sorted out. I just went through my mountain of CC a couple months ago, trying to identify an outfit that had gone invisible at some point, like maybe I lost an attached mesh.
  • There are aspirations?? Is this pack still buggy?
  • I've never had a Prima guide, but based on what others who have used them have said, they seem to have been largely written when the packs were still in development. They always had things in them that were no longer true.
  • It's varied over the years, depending on when I got bored or if I had errors that corrupted it. Usually that second one would end things and I'd have to start over. But I spent/spend a lot of time on my current custom hood, cleaning it and keeping it error free with hoodchecker and SimPe. The backup file informs me was…
  • Modthesims.info I have a bunch by catofevilgenius. I also have some other odds and ends, but the maker isn't listed in the file names. I got them all off that site.
  • How much townies and NPC's have varies. Some are quite wealthy, and some have very little. Townies are (mostly) also lumped into "families", which have a limit that all the members access. The only way to know, without moving them in, how much any given Sim has, is to look at their family funds in SimPe. I've only ever…
  • Sims2Pack Clean installer. You can find it on ModtheSims. Unfortunately there are some hiccups. If the creator didn't properly label the item and/or make a thumbnail for it, it won't be able to tell you what it is.
  • New Orleans. Phoenix AZ, Boulder City NV, or Simi Valley CA. Any small midwest town like Gas City, Anderson, Frankfort, Springfield, Peoria...
  • When I'm playing, I just listen to the game. I like to hear everything, down to the birds chirping in the background. When I'm building, I have an iTunes playlist with all the Sims music in it that I listen to. Sims 1-4 PC, Console, and DS; Sims Online, Bustin' Out, Urbz, even MySims, anything I could get my hands on.
  • The problem with building tiny houses on large lots is just that you have this huge, unused space that you could be using for a larger build. And it just looks weird, like the Sim must be a hermit living on this huge lot with no neighbors for miles. Most of my builds are on the bigger side, so I don't need a ton of tiny…
  • While Sims 2 is my favorite, I actually listen to all of them when I'm building. I have an iTunes playlist with allllllll the music from allllll the games. Took me a long time to collect it all.
  • You don't need a PC, just a Windows partition. That's how I play Sims 2 on a Mac. Whether or not you can download the game depends on whether or not you got Ultimate Collection. If you had Sims 2 digitally, they gave you UC for free back in 2014 as a replacement. Several months later they also gave it out for free to…
  • Yes. I have a machine with Windows 11 for Sims 2. I copied over everything from my thumb drive, that had been copied from my previous machine running Windows 10. I don't remember where I found everything I needed to get it working, I just googled things like "graphics rules changes for Sims 2 on Windows" and "flashing pink…
  • I'd also like something smaller for tiny homes, like 15x15.
  • I had to cheat and give the "player" trait to both Sims in one of my couples because they both liked to flirt with other Sims autonomously, and it was making their relationship drop dramatically. I have a Sim who doesn't have a romantic partner, just a few woohoo partners. I haven't had any issues with her yet, so maybe…
  • I love the build/buy kits, so I'm hoping for more. Haven't bought the other kits. I was interested Bust the Dust, but then there seemed to be a lot of bugs.
  • I've never made a generic lot, apparently that's bad advice. I have made a spa and a thriftea store though, and both of those spawned workers and a bartender (in the case of the spa).
  • No idea. My Sim currently has 3.
  • @LSM36 I don't have any thoughts on the subject at the moment. But, you might like to know that you can have more than one BFF now. They added it in a patch.
  • Community Rec Center or Generic.
  • I never use the style likes/dislikes. I just find Sim's reactions to be obnoxious. "Oh I love this style! I'm going to go admire this table even though you told me to eat dinner and autonomy is off." "Oh, I hate this style! I'm going to be in a bad mood for the next day because I saw this chair at a community lot." But a…
  • I use very little social media. I run a FB group and we have a discord server. But I've never used any of the other platforms and oddly enough, neither have my kids. They only use discord. But when it comes to Sims forums, I'm there! Have been since Sims 2. They add something to the experience I guess.
  • Just no. I don't want it.
  • Only 2. One that disables the Eco Living sunray effect and one that removes the mosaic blur. No other mods. I've never seen the option to check in at all. I just see the ask about day option under small talk.

  • Like a lot of others have alluded to, it's more an issue since Sims 4. Going from 1, Bustin' Out, etc. up to Sims 3, it didn't bother me. All the games offered something new and fun. Sims 4 was a huge disappointment for several years. It has made me wary of starting over again. I'm still really cautious with each pack I…
  • I didn't take a pic of it, but my Sims at prom were dancing back to back with their arms around each other and everything. It was pretty funny looking.
  • Burglar Fortune teller / Matchmaker Mr. Big & The Diva (I actually have these guys in my game already as townies. They are on the gallery!) Unsavory Charlatan Ideal Plantsim (I didn't play Plantsims much, but I would love to have the option of real plantsims again.) Social Bunny (This guy creeped me out, but it would be…
