the best you can do is reset the computer and right before it loads to your desktop hit *command + alt/option + p + r* at once.. if you saved with a wild horse the odds of you loading that game are slim to none, sorry, but that's the way it is.. I have the same problem too.
I AGREE!! I love my macs and Apple, if ever I have a problem (which I rarely do) they fix it IMMEDIATELY with a smile. EA could learn a few things from Apple.
PETS IS HORRIBLE, my game is unplayable, I brought it back... but that isn't stopping me from filing my complaints... I've had an Apple rep CONFIRM that it was the game's programing and not my computer.
Thank you for posting! It makes me feel a bit better that someone had contacted you... I actually had a rep from Apple make a statement that I sent to EA, he filed a complaint and said that if more complaints are filed, Apple will reconsider doing future business with EA. I bet they'd make a patch then.
I have an imac and macbook pro, on both, whenever a horse rolls around the whole thing freezes and crashes my computer, I went to apple they said it's the game and I need a patch, being that I'm updated with snow leopard. I called customer service dozens of times, they tell me the same thing: it's my computer, shut it down…
sometimes my sims get pregnant without the little bell-song that signifies pregnancy going off. Just keep trying, it might be something as simple as using a different method to woohoo in.
It all comes down to EA making the stupid patch. I'm currently in the midsts of getting the media involved simply because that's the only way this is going to be solved. Bottom line: EA put a crappy product on the market and instead of admitting it and fixing it they're ignoring it. I love the sims too much to let this go,…
I heard it wasn't just mac users, some pc users are experiencing the same problems. It just doesn't make sense that so many people are having these problems. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the fact that EA has attempted to help us (by telling us to upgrade our computers) but I upgraded and it still doesn't work. My…
couldn't agree more, so frustrating! I just returned it a few hours ago, uninstalled and went back to the previous expansion- works like a charm now.I like being able to play this game, but what's the point in owning it if I can't even play? I find it outrageous that the problem still hasn't been corrected, *sigh* but what…
finally! some success story! I must try this! thank you... my friend sent this site to me, looks as if not as many people are having success with the glitches.. http://makeapatch4petsea.webs.com/index.htm
I'm not sure about my card, but apparently I'm up to date on requirements (according to my tech-savy brother) but I recently found this site, apparently people are getting pretty fed up with how EA is handling the issue... http://makeapatch4petsea.webs.com/index.htm
I found this site: http://makeapatch4petsea.webs.com/index.htm looks like we're not the only ones with this problem... people are beginning to rebel against EA apparently...
I just spent the majority of my Christmas day trying to get this game to play without freezing and crashing every time a horse walks by. I am an avid sim lover (have been since SimCity) and I usually can figure out what the issue is without calling tech support. This, I have to say, is the first major problem I have had…
