You could also install bootcamp onto your computer and then run EA download manager through that hard drive. However, I think it costs $100 if you didn't get a MacBook Pro. :/

If you had purchased the hard disk for the Sims 3 it works for bother windows and macs. Digital Download does not work on Macs since origin is only downloadable for windows, unless you have bootcamp installed on your mac.
