I'm bumping this thread back because I need to point out some atrocious object recycling that I don't see talked about. They took Christmas objects from the FREE holiday pack and recolored them. They're selling already made FREE content for money. That's absurd. They also recolored Spooky Stuff content as well and sold it…
The Sims 4 is very boring for me as well. I've played since the Sims 2 and that game still is great and exciting. The packs now are shallow and severely lacking in decent gameplay and customization. The Sims 2 set standards that Sims 4 will never be able to reach, which is sad, considering sims 2 came out in 2004 and this…
CAS: -The new stories feature was such a let down. I appreciate the chance of having different starting conditions, but this is a sandbox game! Let us do it! We should be able to set our starting funds, jobs, skill levels, and have much more relationship options. We still can't set boyfriend/girlfriend. Why not? We still…
I need to rant too. The whole thing is just boring and lacking in content. I truly believe this was developed as a Game Pack but sold as an expansion because they know a lot of players don't have high standards. I've been around since the Sims 2 and I know just how awesome this series can be and the Sims 4 simply isn't…
They could do a possession interaction as simple as the ghost jumping into the sims body, making them dance like a chicken, then jumping out. That's what they did on The Sims 2 for console. Though, I'm not against them making a possess feature that's more advanced than that.
What I'd like to see: -Actual cemetery lots would be nice -Different tombstone shapes and sizes to choose from. Maybe when a sim dies, by default, you get a cheap old urn, and have to pay varying amounts for actual tombstones. -More unique interactions with the living. I like the idea of possession ^ -Ghost pregnancies.…
Mrs. Crumplebottom. Social Bunnies. 🐸🐸🐸🐸. Bonehilda... I'd love to see them again. Also, I'd like to have newspaper deliveries again, made by that young girl in red from The Sims 1, whistling that tune. That'd be a throwback I'd love to see.
You're right about this game never being 'fixed.' It's impossible to please everyone. Every feature and idea they could possibly do will have people who love it, people who hate it, and people who don't care either way. I love TS4, it's my second favorite in the series, closely following TS2, but of course it isn't…
I think they could do a lot with University, so I'd say an EP would be more likely. Personally though, I hope they don't do Univeristy for a while. It's one of those packs that I play college once, then don't really touch it again. That said, I think with TS4's world system, switching between worlds would mean that a sim…
I'm one of those people that don't like crazy colors being genetic. That always bugged me about TS3, kids would be born with highlights, darker roots, blue tips... But I'm not against the option for kids to have unnatural hair colors. What they could do is add the option to set a sims natural hair color, the one that will…
I would love to see a bunch of past neighborhoods come back! Old town, Pleasantview, Strangetown, Veronaville.. Loved those and it'd be awesome to see them come back
The Sims 1: Humor The Sims 2: the challenge and consequences (3 and 4 are too easy!) deep personalities (wants, fears, interests, turn on's off's...) The Sims 3: (a more intuitive) CAW The Sims 4: Ability to change between worlds, smaller neighborhoods, adjusting all body parts, stylized art
Farming has always been on my list of expansions I want to see. It's something that hasn't really been done before. Except that half-baked and expensive ts3 sets. Farm animals, crops, farmers markets, big open plantations, rural towns... Fleshing these out in the sims would be great. It'd be a welcome departure from the…
I definitely agree about the careers. The ones we have are quite specific and "out there." Business is really the most normal one there is. Don't get me wrong, astronaut is cool, secret agent, painter, villain.. But some generic ones would be nice. I'd welcome the slacker career with open arms. I want to see more…
I just tested it with one and multiple sims. Also sold and bought again. Tried both models also. The sims always walk back up the slide to the beginning instead of going around it.
I don't know if this is an "issue" per se, but I found it to be rather obnoxious. After this update, the skill bar is huge! Much bigger than normal. I tested it on a lot with a lot trait and on a lot without, and huge for both of them.
There's a problem right away with this thread, and that's the title. What "we" want. You can't speak for everyone. Not everyone feels the same way. Not happy with the game? That's fine, but there are plenty who are and you're insinuating their views don't matter or are wrong because it's not of the same opinion as you. You…
Cars are kind of useless since you can just teleport where ever, but I'd like cars to just for aesthetic purposes and the new gameplay they could provide. However, I don't know how they'd make them work, especially in Windenburg. The old town and island neighborhood don't have any lots attached to a road. Then willow…
Dusty Flats Welcome to the wild west! A new world complete with big, open plantations, a dusty ghost town, flourishing Amish countries, and twisting canyon roads. Experience the western town that never ages. -Own a plantation! Move in with local farmers and run your plantation. Grow a variety of crops and raise cattle.…
There are many different senses of humor in the world. Seems like a petty thing to be complaining about. The Sims has always been exaggerated and weird, this is no different. Not everyone is going to be amused by everything.
Definitely more stair options. L-stairs, spirals.. also stuff like those neat curved staircases from the sims 2 mansion & garden stuff. Being able to set different rooms with different wall heights, or have two different foundation heights in one lot. More roofs. Octagonal, maybe rounded? The more, the merrier! I also hope…
