  • NAPs can be a Major Pain if you play rotationally. My sims don't have time for the signature thingy every time I play a different household. As soon as I load a household I cheat the NAP's I hate away. Good riddance forever paper bag head!!
  • I am a player for the most part, although I do renovate houses that I have downloaded to suit my Sim's needs. I can't remember the last time I built an entire house. I very rarely create sims either. If I need a new sim I will download a gallery sim, or just grab a random townie that catches my eye.
  • I haven't updated yet. For a while now I have delayed patching my game until any broken mods are fixed. It also saves me from dealing with the other weird stuff that patches bring, like what's happening now with game crashes etc.
  • You Got: Skiing It doesn't ever snow where I live, so I don't know where I'm going to do this skiing. :D Thanks for doing this giveaway. <3 Crossing my fingers!
  • It's still a "no thanks" from me. :p
  • I chose farming because that's what I really want, but I will take any of the others as long as they are not supernatural or brand related.
  • Only one sim can attend school at a time. If you have more than one child in a household they will have to take turns and go on another day. :)
  • Definitely buying it, but might wait until I can bundle it ...... unless I can't wait, then I will buy it straight away, or not, I don't know. I will definitely eventually get it someday, someway.
  • Dine Out is one of my favourite packs! I only have problems if the waiter drops the meal, sometimes the replacement meal never arrives so my sims leave hungry, but that doesn't happen enough to annoy me too much. You also need to make sure that if you build a restaurant yourself, or download one from the gallery, that it…
  • I never used to cheat at all in TS2 but now in TS4 I’m a cheating cheater who cheats. I cheat needs (Sim is too busy to eat/sleep/pee). I cheat away moods that I don’t like or stop my sims from doing things. I cheat the time so days are longer. I also, though very rarely, cheat money, (usually to take from one household…
  • I picked emotions. Not necessarily more emotions though, but a complete overhaul to how emotions and emotional situations are handled by the game and how they are experienced by the sims. Extreme emotions need to have more impact, there should also be more consequences for a sim's bad behaviour, for eg cheating, divorce,…
  • When I started off with mods/cc, I initally just threw stuff in the folder together, but very quickly saw how this could get way out of control. My mods folder now has over 20 sub-folders inside sorting everything by either creator or category (or both). It makes it way easier to find items if something is causing a…
  • I have had this happening for months in my game and just assumed it was a mod. I have never bothered to test without them though. In my game it lags the most when a child clicks on a computer, it takes forever for the menu to appear. The adults have a slight lag, but the kids are much worse.
  • They are not useful to me, so I never click on them. I probably won't read anything Sims 5 related until there is an official announcement, whenever that will be. I'm not in any rush to have a new Sims game anyway, still happily playing Sims 4.
  • I put CAS and Build Buy items into separate folders. Within the CAS folder, they are again separated into clothing, hair, accessories, child, toddler etc. If I have a lot of items from a particular creator, they are put into a separate folder just for that creator. I also separate mods into folders by type or creator so…
  • I sometimes use them fully furnished if I like the style and the family can afford it. Otherwise I clear everything out except the kitchen and bathroom fixtures and have my sims bring the furniture from their old place.
  • @SimGuruConor , great questions. 1) Love the Crosspack! Can't think of anything other than what you have mentioned. Sounds great, gives the stuff pack more meaning. 2) I am not too fussed about crochet items being made with a knitting animation. I can't crochet, so who am I to judge how they do it. 3) Knitting at…
  • I thought I would use them all the time, but honestly I prefer the cc ones I downloaded years ago.
  • Seasons gives the feeling of time passing and that you're not just stuck in a sunny utopia where every day has the same perfect weather.
  • Most of my sims have children, I find it more interesting when the family has 4+ sims. When a couple gets together in my game I roll a dice, if it lands on 10 or 20 - no kids :disappointed: , although I will accept "oops" babies for these couples. One couple in my game rolled a 10, so they have 5 cats instead :D
  • I have only ever played in Britechester University and have not had a problem with sims being late to class. All the buildings are close by with no stairs so they get there fairly quickly whether they bike it or walk. I don't think I will send any sims to Foxbury now though, sounds hellish.
  • I would love to have sims be able to run a resort!! I hope we get this feature. And also the possibility of released packs being updated, yes please! This was a great survey! I agree. These surveys could even be done every 6 months so they can keep on top of how the community is feeling/thinking about the content being…
  • I play multiple sims and I currently only let them do 3. The first sim that went to uni did 4 and it was crazy town.
  • Do you use mods? If not, maybe give them a try. There are some mods that add to the gameplay and make things a lot more interesting. Check out some of the mods by KawaiiStacie and Roburky.
  • This is how you find the setting: Click on a computer in game > MC Command Centre > MC Tuner > Change Interaction Behaviour > Allow Emotional Deaths > Change the setting to "Disabled". :)
  • I am hoping for a pause option with MCCC for uni too, I'm sure it can be done somehow. I pause pregnancies with MCCC, and because I play quite a few households I see my poor "pregnant forever" sims waddling around all the time. I just know they hate me.
  • Yes. All family should show up whether you have met them or not. Some grandparents in my game don't really get to know their grandchildren because they don't show on the phone if you haven't met them, and sometimes I'm too lazy to get my sims to go visit them. :s
  • I forgot we used to be able to do that in TS2 as well, would definitely like that option back too!
  • I’m hoping it will. In TS2 it did, the dorm mates still did their own thing, just really fast.
