I've only played the sims deluxe edition as a kid but I had a blast. I would have voted for the sims 5 option but looking at how the sims 4 is going I think ill be sticking with the older entries.
I would definitly buy the sims 1 collection if they made it available to play on new computers. Sims 2 & 3 are the ones I play, would be sweet to be able to mess around with the original game that started it all.
Just spend the whole weekend playing The Sims 2 (created an empty neighborhood & plan on populating it from only my starter family). I'm never surprised how much fun I have playing 2 despite it not having advanced features found in 3 & 4. EA should really release a remastered version for newer computers.
Plantsim powers ideas (adding onto what others have mentioned) -Flower kisses that function as "spells." Plantsims could blow a "flower kiss" at a targeted sim. I don't have much ideas other than the targeted sim becoming a plantsim or the flower kiss acting as a love charm or poison. -Spores area of effect power. It could…
Cosmetic update ideas (adding onto what others have mentioned) -Multiple floral hairstyles to choose from that change with the seasons to represent plantsims being one with nature. Spring: bright pastel color, summer: deeper/darker color, fall: red/orange color and winter: dark brown color (dormant). (Also having the…
@ddd994 In Sims 3 when you plant the forbidden fruit seed and its ready to harvest there are two options: "tend garden" or "pick forbidden fruit." I always get them mixed up but one option gives you the forbidden fruit that you can eat to become a PlantSim, the other option gives you a 50/50 chance of harvesting a PlantSim…
@HillyBeth I like witches as well because of the cool animations and load of spells they can cast but plantsims are favorite. I started a new save file and am going to mix in all the occults throughout the generations. I've never really tried vampires but am stocking up on plasma fruits :)
I liked Sims 4 in its early years but it kind of got boring. Also the expansions being too curated and narrow didn't help, which is why some people probably feel let down or excluded. If the expansions were actually packed with content like the ones from previous Sim entries, then more people would buy them and enjoy…
I liked how you got more want slots in the Sims 2, felt like a big sim achievement that they went to college. Would have been cool if they added more wish slots for the Sims 3 as well instead of getting more traits.
I actually have the Sims 2 collection on origin but have a Mac so I can't play it. And the Sims 2 Super Collection from the Mac app store doesn't have all the expansions sadly. Johnny33
I never used the feature when I played Sims 2 because I didn't know exactly what it was. But I've started messing with it lately and it's really fun! Might start a whole new neighborhood to storytell with :)
Ever since I found out Sims 3 keeps track of days I've been interested in story telling with the day tracker. Just started a new save where my sim is writing books as a form of memories that are stamped with the in-game date. I'm probably going to have to build a large library eventually :D
Started with Sims 2 and loved it immediately. I've played other Sims entries which were pretty fun in their own way. Probably my favorite game franchise and I'm actually thinking about getting a Sims tattoo :D
I started a new save in Twinbrook so my home is still a work in progress. My current sim is a fairy turned plantsim who hopefully will start growing his family soon.
. @kretorrbwly -Oh yeah that's true, if I had the option, I would prefer neighbors not to age and stay the same till I decide to play that family like in Sims 2.
@kretorrbwly I don't want to sound grim, but I love seeing the town die off. Makes me feel like I've really been putting in time/work to my save file. :)
I like having long age spans. When I start a new game, it gives me time to befriend the entire town and eventually have a beautiful and busy graveyard :)
