IMHO Get Famous is one of the better expansion packs. Yes, the world is a bit of a disappointment but all in all the pack is good. I would add one other suggestion. I don't know if you use mods but "Road to Fame" allows you to hire a personal bodyguard. The mod is also a great addition to Get famous. I use it all the time.

You can upload that LE file here: https://lastexception.com/ Sounds like a mod issue. The only thing that may work is to pull any mods from the game and test it. If the game loads then you quit out and start adding mods back in until you find the culprit. (Of course deleting the cache file every time)

Just throwing in my experience. I don't think it has anything to do with MCCC either. Right now I'm playing S4 with only Get Together and Get Famous loaded and I have this issue also. Prior to the last patch I did not have this issue.

Actually, I think EA should give you a break. What I expect is for "likes and dislikes" to affect my Sims "behavior." So far I haven't seen that happen.

The only solution I am aware of is this: sims4me_nocelebritywalkstyle. Mod. It removes the walk style. No celebrity sims will have it.

Thanks for the response. I think that you're right. It doesn't seem to be mod related. I also have noticed more issues with "idling" in general. Not to mention the psuedo-teleport thing my Sims are doing now.

Wow. That sounds like fun. About as much fun as watching paint dry, that is. A different fertilizer for each and every plant. So I guess if I want to play a "farming" game in Sims 4 my Sim better get used to sleeping for about an hour everyday. Heaven forbid that EA should actually fix the bug. >:)

I think a huge discussion regarding "story progression" is meaningless. Why? First of all a player can use MCCC to do many of those things now. I don't see any good reason not to use that mod. Secondly, I would have been much happier to see EA at least attempt to "polish" the base game. I think "polish" is a good term.…
