  • Outdoor Retreat insect spawners like we got for Cottage Living. Mostly because it would be cute to add insects to lots, but it would also make herbalism a skill you can practice everywhere, instead of this forgotten skill no one uses. (I use a mod that removes all insects from recipes because I love herbalism more than I…
  • I hate it. The position means I keep accidentally clicking it when I mean to open my gallery. Disgusting but not unexpected move from EA.
  • The first 10 seconds of trailer had me quietly whispering "oh no" to myself because the stuff pack is 100% my aesthetic and I knew I'd get it straight away. I'll buy for the CAS and B&B to integrate into my game and then later find an existing family in my rotation to slowly discover the new gameplay. Meredith Roswell is…
  • Cringe being a personality trait does not entice me to come back to the game.
  • It should be under "horse care". It works fine for me ?
  • Whatever category bienchen's mods fall under, because my mod folder is at least 70% bienchen.
  • The new lunchbox is finally a way for sick sims on a lot with Simple Living to have acces to orange juice ! Just last week I was complaining about this. Stoked !
  • The infant update.
  • Playing 3 puppies in a small-ish apartment, that you have to individually carry downstairs when they need to go, got old very fast. They're finally grown, all clones of their mom (except I gave them natural ears), and very good at getting underfoot in every situation. (The mom's cropped ears were part of her original…
  • Yay ! Glad it worked for you. Sorry for unclear instructions, yes I meant when I replace the practical sage i.e., I add the new sim to the household of the current practical sage, then delete the old sim. I did it out of habit and didn't realize this was the only reason my sage replacements worked.
  • Just tried it right now and it works perfectly. I can think of two reasons why it didn't for you: -I added the replacement sage to the current sage household, deleted the unwanted old sage from the household, then moved it back to "other households". Unclear if this is a necessary step, I usually do it that way because I'm…
  • I haven't changed a sage in a hot minute, so I'm unsure if it still works that way, but what I would do: Save a version of L Faba from an old save in your gallery where she's still sage, delete the new sage, add L Faba to the current save, then unheart her household so it goes back to "other households" (this is the…
  • My friends and I played Red Dead Online back when it wasn't abandoned by Rockstar, and I made our color coordinated posse in the sims. Unfortunately I have zero good screenshot of the original version. They're a bay roan Ardennes, a red roan Breton, and a black Kladruber. Images from the RDR2 wiki, as it will always be the…
  • I use everything, Moschino tripod, selfies on the phone, HSY photobooth, mcrudd's trick, candid unposed pictures. The tripod is by far my favorite because the sims actually hold each other with it. It is unfortunately a hassle to remember to place, so most of the time I forget. My philosophy is as long as I have plenty of…
  • I've seen sims throw away the eggs supposed to be hatching, but didn't realize it was because they spoiled. Huh.
  • Yeah it does, nectar making aswell. I really thought the horse ranch pack having added a new campfire, the sims team would have revisit the frequency of fires. But no, if you have seating snapped your campfire, it WILL catch fire everyday. So I have to move benches and logs away and sims will kneel in the dirt, to keep my…
  • I saved the improved makeup / costume rooms separately in my gallery and just plop them when I go on set with a sim. It is never saved unfortunately, I repeat a lot of gigs because I prefer to, and I have to place the rooms every time.
  • As an ex Red Dead Online player, I'm really into the aesthetics of the pack. Everywhere I look i see tiny details that remind me of the immaculate vibes of RDR2. I made my entire posse and their horses in the sims, and even built a moonshine shack (+camp in the backyard) for them to live.
  • I have not seen a single screenshot of a sim wearing the riding helmet. I wonder what they thought they were doing by giving us no hat chops on the helmet. Did someone seriously think the gigantic helmet that turns all sims bald would be a hit ? Living off the grid means no quick meal means no orange juice for sick sims, I…
  • My sim children keeps putting away their toys in the box after playing with them, and I also found an expired plate of food once, so I decided to delete them all forever. It is very possible it is an old outdated mod causing these issues though.
  • Oh I'm sure there are very logical reasons why sims clean the same two hooves over and over, and only brush one side, always the same, but it still gets visually repetitive very fast, faster than other animations in the game I feel like.
  • I cannot find an option to ride bareback with level 10, and it is not specified in the level up notification, unsure where the info comes from. I have however found a simple way to generate horses without a saddle: use the genetics tool to create a foal from an existing horse, then age them to adult in the same window,…
  • One more grievance: every single animation is from the left side of the horse. How hard was it to mirror the animations for whichever side you approach your horse from to work the same, instead of awkwardly skirting around (in the best case scenario, but in gameplay it's more often straight up walking through) the horse.
  • While testing for the smallest possible stall size, I realized that placing the hay rack and trough on top of the horse bed works just fine, so having 4x4 stalls is possible. You need moveobjects to place both feeding items and the door to the stall, but horses can then enter, exit, eat, drink and sleep (including laying…
  • There aren't many collectible rocks either, a missed opportunity. The world is big but there isn't much to do so you don't feel inclined to explore, just ride through without stopping by. I have found a grand total of one (1) rock in Galloping Gulch.
  • You can, however they keep baby proportions so they look like sheep with a giant head and anime eyes.
  • I keep reading that argument about horses having to be their own expansion to be done well but: you can't lead your horse around. You can't enter/exit the competition center riding your horse. The equestrian helmet removes the entire hair so as not to bother with hat chops. Even giving a free pass for bugs that will…
  • I feel like I'm missing something, there is no nectar skill book, I've checked Plopsy several times and it doesn't appear to be sold there either, you can serve a single serving of basic nectar on bars but is there really no way to buy aged bottles unless you make them yourself ? I already have plans to have a dedicated…
  • I was wondering how they hadn't starved to death yet, as the hay was obviously too high for them. Guess they made do.
