1,094,840 ETA: Legacy home. It's a constant work-in-progress that my Sims remodel and change. The bills are horrific, so they can only afford to remodel a bit at a time and still have lives.
I haven't given it a name, but I treat all non-vacation worlds as if they're part of one country or region. I don't play the Sims as if it's a mini-USA. The othering of certain worlds (Mt. Komorebi, Sulani) irritates me, so my Sims freely travel around and try to represent more than just Western culture with their food,…
Sorry, it's been so long since the last update. No update today either. Hopefully, I'll have an update and comments for some of the stories I've fallen behind on by March 17 April :# . Thanks for your patience. <3 Mini-Teaser for an upcoming chapter:
Since the For Rent patch, the game has had huge bugs. I don't want or care about a new patch or pack if it's broken, so I monitor AHQ and wait until the game seems stable before updating. Based on what's been publicly stated about EA earnings calls, Sims 4 packs seem to be selling well. I don't think there's much incentive…
I think I would be given these traits if I were a Sim: ambitious, bookworm, and snob. I hope through discovery gameplay (interactions IRL), snob would be replaced with cheerful.
@Lucy_Henley I don't have any giant events, but I think that I look forward to setting up and playing through fairly big ones. I like pushing the game further and further to see what it'll tolerate. Even though I love that, it still gets tiring sometimes, so I try to balance with smaller, lower-stakes events. I'll also…
I keep it on. I don't mind that the Sims 4 is a low stakes game, but for me it feels like there's absolutely no stake or challenge with aging off for all Sims.
I never buy packs immediately because like the last pack they may be buggy and corrupt saves. I think this one will be okay, but I feel no need to risk it. I'll wait and see what others think of it and if it ruins anyone's game. :|
@manicpot8to @mightysprite @RedDestiny92 --- I keep my gameplay updates on my blog and I don’t have an update yet, but here’s a screenshot I really like of sisters Ennik and Deli. There’s no story behind it. The older sister, Deli, is busy. She doesn’t see her younger siblings that much, especially not this one, but when…
My Sims normally attend university from home and move out upon marriage or after reaching a career or life milestone. Their parents give them enough funds (so far 50k to 300k) for the new place from the money earned in-game by the family.
I have almost all of the packs and more than 330 custom recipes, but it takes about 2 seconds for the recipe menu to come up. Sims move to cook instantly after I select a recipe. I agree though that the cooking menu is one of the laggiest things in the game. Everything else is basically instant.
Ironically, I'm not good enough at judging my own stuff so I just don't. I put in some effort, I have some fun, and I post things. That's all. I don't want to make it too serious or even give my "best" efforts. I try to give a reasonable amount instead, which for me means that after spending a sustainable number of hours…
