  • I am not looking forward to the patch. It is currently downloading and I am afraid to see what it does to my game. I am tired of patches breaking one thing after another. Now we get more emotions which aren't needed as Sims have too many to deal with. I am so tired of dealing with the newer "sentiments" from the last patch…
  • While TS4 is a good game (but not great) it isn't quite up to par with TS2 IMO. The thing for me is that TS2 had more depth and emotion in it's game play. Sims in TS2 seemed more aware of their world like when a Sim would see another Sim naked and scream, they would turn their heads to see who walked into a room, and they…
  • My list of hates out weigh my likes but here goes: I like: Sims can multitask, like sit on the couch, eat, and watch TV. Toddlers are just cute CAS is more detailed with the sliders Object placement Short loading screens I hate: Sims don't know how to take care of babies, like if they cry from a dirty diaper, they do any…
  • I become quite bored with TS4. I have been playing it on and off (mostly off) and I end up leaving it for awhile. The Sims in TS4 are pretty much zombies. The movements are so stiff and they always seem bored. I usually go back to TS2. In all my years of playing TS2, I really never got bored with it, yes I would get burned…
  • Ok. So I am not the only one then. Thanks for all your replies. I saw that EA looked into it about a year ago and I guess they didn't deem it an issue.
  • Mine do that all the time. It's annoying. It can sometimes be a challenge to keep them interacting with each other.
  • For me TS4 is good, not great but good. I find myself getting bored with the game after a while but maybe because I only have the GTW pack. I do like most of the gameplay, but some things make no sense to me. Like why do Sims always have to hug each other while the other Sim is eating? Happens 95% of the time. Another is…
  • That did the trick! Just signing Origin back to online on her computer. I seem to remember dealing with my wife and I playing games at the same time. I remember now that in order to do that, one of our computers has Origin online and the other offline. We just started to get back into our Sims 3 and Sims 4 games.
  • Thanks for the reply. I knew that you couldn't have two people on the same Origin account at the same time, but I wasn't aware that you still had to sign on every so often from offline. Makes sense though. I will try the suggestions. Thanks.
  • Mcrudd, my game graphics look nothing like that. Not even close. I notice no difference while I change most of the settings, aside from the Post Processing which makes a huge difference between on and off. I do have an older computer, with a ATI graphics card from about 2011. The issue is that everything went back to…
  • Thanks. I tried doing just that and although it helps, it is still blurry in certain areas, like their portraits in the UI panel and with certain objects.
  • Thanks for the info. I posted the question in AHQ.
  • I have played TS4 but not enough to really get into it. I have no idea how the townie Sims work in that game. I never really left TS2. It's still my favorite out of all of the series. I play TS2 on a pretty good updated desktop. It has a great graphics card and tons of RAM. I never had any lag or graphics issues on the…
  • I think I am ok for awhile then. I have never deleted any of the urns or tombstones, at least in this NH. They are all in a cemetery that I made. I have all the packs. There would never be a reason for me to have that many Sims, but good to know! Thanks for all of the replies!
  • You can reset a Sim in TS2 by opening the cheat window, type moveObjects on then go into buy mode, click on the Sim that needs reseting, click delete, then save, then exit the lot. Return back to the lot and your reset Sim will be standing by the mailbox reset and ready to go.
  • Is it a thought bubble or a speech bubble? If it is a speech bubble, the podium speech bubble is a Sim talking about politics. If you go into your Interests panel, scroll the pointer over each subject and hold it there for a second, each subject will show pics of what it goes with. Like the money subject will show pics of…
  • Thanks. I read some tutorials on how to use SimPE. It's cool everything you can use it for. I downloaded it years ago in hopes of making my own CC, but just never got around to it.
  • The only thing I can think of was that the last Franklin Sim was still there when I moved in the Bryants. Possibly the Franklin name just stayed on the lot after the last one passed on. I can't find anything in any of the family trees regarding anyone named Franklin. I just don't remember playing the Franklin family much…
  • Looking back, I never really played the Franklin family much. There were no generations of them. However, the Bryant's are on the third generation.
  • Thanks for all the replies, but aside from Sims PE, which I have but never really used, moving them out and back in won't work. For example, I had a family with the last name "Franklin". That entire family has been gone for a long time, and I can't remember if they all passed away or what happened with them. So now, the…
  • That probably would have been me.. :)
  • I have all of the SP's for Sims 2. I liked them because most of them I had before I knew how to download any CC and I would get tired of the same old hairs, clothing, etc. I would say my least favorite SP was M&G, it just didn't have much in it that I would use. My favorite SP's would be either Kitchen and Bath or Family…
  • This works well if you have Seasons and try and make friends or repair relationships in the summertime. They get a slight social boost during the summer. The lifetime and daily scores get a boost in the summer as well.
  • Hello. I just use the automatic updates for Windows 7. My computer is old compared to todays computers. I have a HP Pavillion that I bought new in 2009. It has a AMD Phenom 2 quad core processor running at 2.6 Ghz and 8GB of memory. I installed a Radeon HD 4650 graphics card soon after I got the computer. I also updated…
  • It isn't just the partners. On one of my lots I have a family of 6 Sims. Two elders couples, two adult couples, and two teens from one of the elders Sims. Mikki, the elder is not married but in love with Paul the other elder. Sara and Greg, the two adults are married. Mikki has a 2 lightning bolt attraction to Paul and…
  • I still play TS1 every once in awhile when I am feeling nostalgic. When I do play it, I will play for about a week or so, then leave it be for a while.
  • I would like to play a remastered version! As long as it keeps it's charm and objects. Maybe the exact same gameplay, but update the graphics a little.
  • TS2 is much better than TS3 IMO. TS2 had more of a human aspect to it. They could get angry, sad, excited, happy, and scared all within a Sim day, which to me seems like a human element and can happen in a day in real life. Sure, you get that in TS3, but it's more of a mechanical, emotions by the book, kind of way. You…
  • TS2 did have the best babies. I used to love when Sims would sing babies to sleep in TS1 too.
  • TS1: Makin Magic TS2: Seasons TS3: Late Night TS4: I have the base game and Get To Work, and I haven't even played the EP yet.
