I'm about the same. I had it installed for all of 5 minutes before I was forced to remove it. So, unfortunately I have no idea how well the features work. The mod also apparently comes with a massive 75% fps drop. Knocked my FPS down from 60+ to 14. Removed it and I'm back to over 60.
It's a "Master Control Center" mod. It controls EVERYTHING. How long each day is, Careers, skills, bills, neighborhood options, sim lifetimes, relationships (ban divorce? Make building relationships easier? Harder?), pregnancy, occult options, disabling/enabling sims from doing annoying things all the time like drinking…
The only thing that severely annoys me is the fact that when you click on a sim, the radial menu is RANDOMIZED and changes every single time you open it. DEVS! It's called a SORT FUNCTION... Use it!
@GalacticGal I'm not sure what you want to accomplish. There is no difference between a new game and your own save. Well, the only difference is the "New Game" save was made by Maxis, and you hit the "New Game" button to load it. Otherwise, they're no different. If you have a save that you like how its set up, keep it and…

That's just likely some CC creator's personal little "symbol". Like their own Brand. And you'll get the ability to make posts once you reply more. It keeps out spammers from bombarding the forums with their crap.
For me: Pretty much all the reasons listed. Bug Fixes, customize it for my own play-style, and CC to provide more building, clothing, and character options. I tend to forget about the water drinking. I've had that turned off with MCCC's MCTuner for years... along with shoveling snow, drinking tea, cleaning the grill... and…
Mine's over 4000 but that's a bad number. Years ago EA kept resetting it for some weird reason. There's at least another 2K but I may never know exactly.
I think it's an absolute testament to @luthienrising that once she leaves (temporarily), this forum stops cold... She single-handedly keeps this whole thing going.
It's not the most intuitive feature... but it's fairly easy to use. Click on your sim and select "MC Command Center / MC Tuner / Enable Autonomy Scan" This will turn on the scan feature. Close the menus and then click on something you want to disable the autonomy for. Like for example, if your sim is always going to the…

There's a bug in the mod. If one of the two sims has the "fame shine", it causes the animation to glitch out. I'm not a paid patreon, so I have no way of telling them. You apparently have to PAY them to tell them about bugs in their mod.
Post from Deaderpool's discord: Good news, @everyone , Deaderpool has cleared MC Command Center 2021.2.1 as being compatible with Sims 4 patch version 1.79.93.

That's exactly what I do. Merging mods doesn't "speed things up". It severely reduces clutter when you have a LOT of them. I keep a store of them "unmerged" in another location. If I need to remove a broken CC like bathtubs or something broken because of a game update, I just remove it from the store and re-merge them and…
You don't have to delete the cache files before every play. While that may resolve some problems, it's severe over-kill. There's a reason that file is there... it's a "cache" file. It helps to make your game faster by caching things used and displayed the most for faster access. Deleting it before every play will only make…
Resource.cfg file should not be deleted. (Doesn't matter actually, the game will only re-create it, but deleting it is pointless) I suppose if you suspect your Resource.cfg file is corrupt, you can just delete it, start the game, and a new one will be created... but I've NEVER heard of that happening... ever. Deleting the…
You sure? I was curious so I wrote a little command-line utility to batch rename everything in the current folder, removing all but numbers and letters. Renamed ALL my CC, over 2500 files. Not sure if it effected it any.
