I dont use the saucers as they give out quite a cold light - I prefer wall lights and a couple of ceiling lights, I play walls down all the time so I don't see them.
Hi thank you so much - I don't know where the Sims 4 folder is (Got a Mac book) so as I said - not technologically minded at all! :D I last did something before and deleted all my saves and my gallery so I leave it alone now hehehe
Walls down for me - thats why i hate pillars on gallery builds as they wont go down with the walls (same as doors on apartments ! ) I would have to build massive rooms to have walls up, to be able to see my sim, dont like cutaway as for me its about the sim, although i love building, the house isnt the main focus, its my…
Wow just amazing thank you so much it was doing my head in - I deleted my completed save by accident and could not be bothered to do it again! No weird robot walking yay!! and the purple plants can be dug up thank you!!!!
of course that is another way - I was thinking of a more basic way. I have been ill which is usual in my life for the last four months and this is the first post I have made in that time so thank you for replying :)
@crocobaura I do too - but I just thought what about if they were those families that travel in RV's etc (I wish there was a home school option!) they would be travelling around and pitching up with all their stuff and more of a home from home @Stormkeep fair enough thanks so much for saying its a good idea! :)
I love the decorating part of it and find sometimes that there is a lot of bric-a-brac in houses - ornaments, paintings, tons of shelving with bits and bobs on that I have to delete every time - and some builders use really dark flooring and wall coverings - which makes the rooms look gloomy. I don't use curtains or blinds…
it annoyed me at the beginning because of the piles of rubbish, but after getting the hang of cheating the NAP's they disappeared and two of the districts were green, the one with all the white stone was neutral - despite using the same NAP's and green building materials/solar panels/wind thingies, I couldn't get it to go…
I wondered if there are piles of rubbish in other worlds if they are neutral? Because that would be a massive red flag for me - I hate the piles of rubbish in Eco living that I cant pick up (I dont understand why that wasn't a thing to pick up the trash?????) and I would not want it at all in any of the other worlds I have…
I absolutely agree - I love the baby stage (apart from wailing twins and the one time a single mum gave birth naturally to triplets!! :# ) and wish they would untether the babies from their cots!!
In the spice district there is a produce stand and a food stall - and by the art gallery there is a produce stand and a food stall - thats the only ones I know about in San Myshuno
You need a Sim living in the neighbourhood you want to clean up. Then when voting is on (Friday to Monday) vote in “Green Initiatives in Port Promise” or “Green Initiatives in Grims Quarry.” It is per neighbourhood, not world. Once voted in, it takes the whole in game week from Monday evening to Monday again for everything…
1. Sea/Oceans/Rivers to be swimmable - Windenburg and Brindleton Bay are crying out for it - what is the point of having a seaside town (Brindleton) when you cant actually swim in the sea? I love the lot by the beach Bedlington Beach house I think its called - (the premade house was horrible though) and I built my own…
I've changed all the pre made houses into eco houses - apart from the apartment buildings which I can't put panels on the roof etc - but the rubbish piles still seem to be everywhere - does anyone know how many game 'weeks' it takes to clear up the stuff as its irritating having a lovely green eco house (loving the CAS and…
@foxybilly They don't have to take their shoes off. That can be set with the no shoes sign or any basegame shoerack. You can set it to allow shoes on, take shoes off, or wear slippers. If those items are not in the house it defaults to allow shoes on and when you place a shoe rack it's default is to allow shoes. In Mount…
@Caltxcat We have been given a separate save for the Eco living trial and it wont affect our other worlds - so how do you get rid of the rubbish piles in Evergreen Harbour? I tried clicking on them but nothing was happening? thanks :)
Thats hilarious!! My toddlers seem to just either want cereal or a sandwich. I did have one toddler last week that I think wanted grapes (well it looked like grapes) but thats about as random as it gets - your toddler certainly has taste :)
thank you all who replied :) I was a bit scared about NAPS but I disabled them - although I still found some poor townies wandering around with bags on their heads :D so I know I wont be buying this one but ill make the most of the trial - shocked that there wasnt many plots/houses etc (not sure if its just for the trial…
just realised you meant kits aswell as packs and expansions so I voted wrongly! I dont have any kits and dont intend to buy any - home decorator? No thank you I do that already. The only packs or expansions I dont have are : Batuu for obvious reasons, Eco Living - hated the idea of NAP's. I am doing the trial now of Eco…
@GalacticGal so glad to see Erik and Kayleigh getting married and having Jamison :) Erik looked so different with the dark hair as a pirate!!! @Admiral8Q I love those gallery houses! I always change those two original houses as they are really not thought out at all and pretty basic boring type of house. @simgirl1010 I…
every time I age up a toddler to child I go into CAS to change their outfits etc and I always check them as a teenager to see if I need to change anything before they age up again later - and CAS always gives girls the same eyes (even though neither of their parents have these eyes) thin with large lashes - and it makes…
