This happened to me once before. There was an empty glass on the counter. It was so clear that I couldn't see it. When I removed that, I was able to continue normal cooking. Hope that helps!!

That's a good idea. I'll have to give it a try. My sim is only at level 8 painting, so maybe she needs to be at the highest level first. She has completed a masterpiece, though but it was not this one painting that I'm trying to get. I have one room that it would look perfect in and I covet this painting! LOL

Some will always find the negative. I search for the positive. And a big positive is that the gurus are communicating with us in their chats, and I am choosing to believe that this open communication will allow for a quicker resolution to the bugs. I have a couple of different games going on right now, a single sim, and a family game. In my family game, the mother gave birth to twins, first...a boy and a girl. Then another boy. They adopted a girl, and then gave birth to another girl. So, I haven't had a glitch where my sims have only had boys, thankfully.

From what I've noticed while playing the game, the gourmet cooking skill opens up at around level 4 or 5 of the regular cooking skill and when you start cooking gourmet meals, then you increase the new gourmet cooking skill. It's really interesting to see all of the interesting things that sims can cook and the new recipes…

This demon baby glitch has been interesting to see...I've been wondering if I would get it, but my family had 5 children and all of the babies looked normal. The pictures of them have been hilarious...it's really weird, though.

Hehe! I had twins on my sim's first try. I was surprised, that's for sure! I have heard lots of people say similar things. I'd prefer twins and triplets to be more rare, so I hope they fix that in a patch.

Also for those who watched and saw how large my family already is....I turned my back for ONE second and Bruce and Rebecca "tried for baby" and it was successful. So there is about to be 5 children in the house now! Oh my! LOL

I was trying to remember that as well, but I don't think teens were ever available to adopt.

The children are already named, but it gives you the option to rename. I was looking to adopt a teen, but that wasn't available. You can choose from babies or children to adopt.

One thing I noticed and love is that after my sims woohoo'd...one got a moodlet that said "pleasantly satisfied by the 'good' woohoo...and the other sim had a moodlet that said "extremely satisfied by the 'spectacular' woohoo." It's nice to see that tiny touch of realism added to the game...really made me giggle. :D

Also, I HAVE to share this screenshot....my sim made coffee this morning but also had to go to the bathroom...so what does she do? She takes her coffee with her and drinks it while going to the bathroom. So hilarious! Coffee is important!

Well, one of the new recipes I found was that when my sim was playful, a special meal option opened up and I was able to make "silly gummy bear pancakes." I thought that was really cute.

It too a full week before I got my first bills. I believe the game started on a Sunday and I got my bills on Saturday. :smile:

@Esseilte As far as the leftover food is concerned, you have to open the refrigerator and from there you click on the dish and choose what option you want...you can throw it away or grab a serving. Hope that helps!

@kiritopixie Nice info about the tray folder! I wasn't so smart lol....it took me a while, but I ended up searching my origin ID for the sims I had uploaded to the gallery, but I'm going to try that way and see if that works! Thanks!
