iirc kits are tagged as stuff packs in the game files, and an Ikea pack would most definitely be a kit unless after 8 years they decided to change how stuff packs work in this game. Not that I believe this rumor anyway, it surely isn't spreading like fire if no one else on twitter is talking about it lol not to mention…
I've been pretty much obsessed with this hairstyle ever since I first saw it, cause it looks like something that could've easily been in sims 2. And now in the new trailer there's a sim with this hairstyle and an outfit straight out of sims 2. Fills me with joy to know that someone in the sims team gets the vibe
Unfortunately that doesn't mean much. The Strangerville laboratory for example is a lot on the map too, with a unique lot type and icon, yet you can't select that lot type when you build your own lots
This appears to be the trailer building (shown from a different side obviously) but it's not marked as a lot, so I guess we're getting a restaurant rabbithole like in sims 3?
Most build kits are based on sims freeplay updates, here you can see some examples: A few months ago there was a mexican update, with cactuses among new items. So hacienda decor is most likely the theme of the next kit.
Okay, so regarding the tops discussion - I checked higher resolution pics in the app and there are 7 female frame tops and 7 male frame tops (not counting the stuff for kids)
The trailer is 100% not coming today, they never drop game pack trailers without announcing a youtube premiere first. It's been that way since Strangerville (with the exception of Batuu, as it was announced during some award event)
It's not even how much they showed but how they talked about things. As someone who studies marketing I'm usually very unimpressed with those pre-pack livestreams. They either try to hype up the most irrelevant things making it feel like they have barely anything to show, or they talk sounding all bored not trying to sell…
My biggest complain is that they keep on making deco items attached to each other. And what makes it even more frustrating is that they know how much builders hate it. We've been complaing about it for years, yet they keep on doing this. Ugh. Just look at this gorgeous lantern and these cute little plants. I would love to…
To be fair the trailer is where you showcase the most exciting features, promos can show some of that but can't give everything away. You don't want people to watch the trailer and go "oh so just the stuff I saw in the pictures, I was hoping for more". That's why e.g. Snowy Escape promo pictures didn't show rock climbing,…
Fruit punch and chocolate are available for every sim, the other options won't show up unless you have the required level of the cooking/mixology skill. Edit. I was too slow, very typical of me
Because it's just early concept art, they said they will change the hair colors for both Dina and Nina. They're also considering creating new outfits for them
The skirts are cute but what excites me the most is that I see 4 different pairs of pants and none of them are too short? Took them a few years to realise that cropped skinny pants are no longer in fashion, still I'm glad they finally got there.
Your Score: 60% Almost an expert, but not quite! Ngl I'm surprised I scored this high! I guess this really is a kit for me then, enter me please :) I'm from Poland
So what makes scenarios unique is that I can control my sims' lives and my game will not always end up the same? Oh, how I wish I could've played with so much freedom for the last 7 years!
