One reserves the right to complain when one pays $70 for a game and and cannot access it. Especially when one reserves it 6 months in advance and was not charged for it until it is released.
Yep, repairing did nothing. The newest update is stopping me from playing as it will not apply. So once again I have gone through official channels, and no response. I used to be able to play it when I reinstalled each time. No longer. I really really want to play this game.
Okie, I logged out and still need to reinstall. Not trying to spam, but still having issues that support are not fixing. So until I get a response, I need from CS why I need to reinstall the game each time I restart my computer (which is worse that the Sims 3), what is going on? I am working to fix this, but no help from…
Also I do not want anything for free. I am doing this to point out how they are losing money. I want them to see this. I want them to understand that their system is flawed.
Hey, I do not keep charge of my account when I presume they took my money. Apologies if I come off as yelling. I am just highlighting the pointlessness of reserving a copy. I got the money back and it was spent on necessities. I am just left wondering why it was returned after it was given. I gave it in good faith that I…
I am also strange that they want to exclude someone who is so into their game that wants it when it comes out. back to Minecraft and Dwarf Fortress it seems.
Hey, I worked something similar.. Unemployed now since I have less than 5 years experience. Still sounds like EA CS. Still complainaning as I can't get the game I reserved 6 months ago. I paid for it and I want it. they need to fix their preorder process. that is my point.
As it does not matter as I can't preload the game today.. Why does the preorder process work like this? Why order early? I got SimCity, but it crashes all the time. And it has been months since it was released. I beta tested Sim City and gave feedback that it was not ready. At leat the parts I was allowed to test.
Hey, that kind of sounds like their CS. It still makes no sense, but it sounds like what they told me. I am still left asking what the point of reserving a copy is. I outlined the reasons for reserving a copy as my first post. How does this help?
I am unemployed and was given a gift that would fund me getting this. I can sit here all day and complain that I paid for something and it was not delivered. 6 months ago when I could afford it. I offered my money and it was apparently not good enough. Why was my money not taken?
But stores are allowed to do so? The person I talked to in CS chat said they reserved a copy for the same reason.. to reserve funds for release. This is a bad business practice, not taking money when offered. Preorders to stores apparently work by different rules. Why?
I am incredibly frustrated. I tried the customer service chat and all they say is "that is how it works". So now I don't get the game because I reserved it 6 months ago and paid. I need customer service, I bought all the Sims 3 expansions and the Sims 2 and the Sims. Is this how you treat paying customers?
You preorder for 1. A better price. 2. something extra. 3. To make sure you get a copy. 4. To reserve the cash for it. None of these apply to the Sims 4. I reserved in January and paid. You returned the money within a week. What good are preorders?
It would be nice if we were able to unpatch a recent patch, although it may be difficult. Although patch logs might help if they keep them. They keep a ton of other data on our systems.
