I don't take idle flirting too seriously since it happens so often and indiscriminately but I like to leave it up to chance who my sims end up with. Any time I've tried to plan out romances the sims quickly end up having better chemistry with exactly the opposite of the person I wanted. I'm not too controlling of who they…
Not if I'm playing a vanity sim, but yes for storytelling or to specifically cause trouble. If I want to pair up with a married sim, I will just orchestrate them to break up. There's no point in getting my sim's hands dirty when I can play rotationally and ruin their marriage by acting as an omnipotent force.
I like the idea of multiplayer as an option, but not at the expense of a single-player sims experience. I can't trust that the multiplayer wouldn't become the focus, which I don't want. Especially when the attitude with Sims 4 has been 'you have to give something up to get something.'
For sims 4, I enjoy the cartoony artstyle. But I'd like to see Sims 5 switch to realism for a change. I'd hate for the artstyle to go more cartoony than it is, however.
1) Joseph. He seems like he has a lot, but not everything, and that would incentivize me to try harder. Plus, I like to get along with women without the expectation of anything more, Joey seems like he's already done the hard work breaking in his reputation for me. 2) Manny. Because he is nothing like me, and I frankly…
None, whether it's overpriced or not, I don't want to show support for micro transactions. With enough kits you essentially just have the Sims 3 store.
I felt similar, but I got used to Sims 2 again after a while. Sims 2 feels like the more depthful game when it comes to sims themselves and their interactions, but there are just a few nagging things that Sims 4 has spoiled me with that made it hard to get into Sims 2 again. Namely; - The lack of specific conversation…
I placed them around about middle. I'm a bit sour with emotions because of how everythings been monopolized by moodlets. But I didn't place them all the way at the bottom because I'd like to see them be improved. In sims 2 memories functioned to give sims emotions, and it felt much realer than in sims 4. Traits should take…
I'd most look forward to Faeries. Taking inspiration from the folklore where Fae folk were actually dangerous. Werewolves and zombies would also be welcomed returns. I desperately want to see ghosts updated, they hardly qualify as occults right now. Mermaids could also use some tlc if we get a Supernatural expasion.
I'd like some higher waisted jeans, skirts and suit trousers for women, and some more shirt options, turtlenecks, tucked cardigans and blazers. Professional female clothing. And shoes! Female sims are in desperate need of some better looking boots and simple heels. There are a lot of essentials missing for female sims.
I don't mind occult showing up in the real world from time to time, alien abductions and vampire breakins. However, I don't want my existing townies and premades becomming spellcasters. It's the same with situational outfits. I make all of my townies, and I don't want to see their personalities ruined by them using magic…
With Morgyn and making him able to impregnate. You can always just say he used magic, instead of seeing it as changing him. Personally I wouldn't though, because I enjoy working around it. Im currently mulling over who I can ship him with.
Yes she is! In the ROM trailer. Strangely enough, my middle name is also Aine. I had no idea it had roots in Fae mythology till you said so. Fascinating. Wikipedia descriped her as: 'Reputedly the most powerful fairy in Ulster' So I suppose I can say 'Most powerful fairy in Ulster' IS my middle name... reputedly.
They are SO bad. It would be funny if it weren't so sad. Not using the trailer sims isn't even the most egregious offence, it is serving us sims like that. I genuinely believe they were randomised. I can't see one original feature on their faces. Put some effort into the premades or don't make them at all, they're a…
There are a few packs that I'm eager for, but assuming I was fed up enough to give up on Sims 4, the thing that would bring me back is an overhaul of sim's personalities. Incl. -One-sided relationships -Enemies/ periods of anger -Bigger reactions & consequences -Attraction system -More impactful traits -Zodiacs, likes &…
I do keep a folder of any good looking sims I find, for inspiration. But I wont re-create someone's sim, since I'm not sure they'd want me to. I would take one or so features that I like, but make the sim different from the original.
I'd love to see a Faerie pack. Based on the folklore, where Fae were actually dangerous. In the light of the new magic realm, there could be a Fae realm. You'd need to be careful not to eat the food or dance if you were a human. The Fae Courts: Unseelie, Seelie and Solitary. Different types of Fae have different abilities…
I want a Zodiac system, but not for it to dominate our sims personality. It would be great *in addition* to an overall improvement of sim's personalities, relationships and reactions. I would want their traits to come first and their zodiac sign to follow, not for all Libras to act the same.
I always start with a single sim and then go through the motions of them finding a spouse and building a family. At the moment my sims are 50% single / 50% nuclear family.
I always cheat needs so I can't say I have your frustrations. I adore Witches and Vampires, because of their complexity. And I dislike Mermaids the most because I feel like they were a big missed opportunity, it's mostly aesthetics. Aliens bother me because it's so easy to discover their identity, I wish it were tougher…
It's baffling. Aside from Morgyn, and the other trailer sim in the yellow dress, all of the pre-mades look hideous to me, like someone just used the randomiser. Whereas the trailer sims were all fantastic, I'm not sure why they would make those sims and then also go to the effort, or lack of, to make worse sims for the…
I always manage my expectations with Sims 4 packs. So far, the game pack has really amazed me. I am a bit worried that it will concentrate too much on emulating harry potter rather than traditional witches. It just remains to be seen.
