I'm about to start crying right now. I am trying to reinstall Sims 3 on my new laptop, and all the expansions I own are registered to my dmel25 account on Origin EXCEPT Sims 3 Late Night, I don't know why it isn't, but I have my physical copy of the game.
Well, my laptop doesn't have a CD drive for me to install Late Night so now I can't install it. I have contacted EA and they keep telling me I need to verify the account and email that used my old code, but I can't because I don't remember what that was, I was given Late Night as a Christmas gift 11 years ago and just remember installing it on my computer. So EA keeps telling me there is nothing they can do about getting me my game code back and now I can't play my favorite Sims 3 expansion.
I don't want to have to buy it again when I own it already and I am about to start crying honestly.

I seemed to fix it by using cheats. I used the cheat to remove the werewolf trait and then readded it to my sim and his appearance was fixed.. not sure how or why it broke before but removing being a werewolf and then giving it back seems to solve the problem.

Hmmm I am pretty sure I always unlinked the two forms because I didn't want one to affect the other. I will also add I my sim was turned into a werewolf as a teenager and everything was fine for days. Then I noticed after they aged up to a YA suddenly the werewolf appearance was messed up.

Thank you for the answer! But I use no CC whatsoever in my game so I doubt that is the cause.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this on werewolves? One day my sim was fine, the next his nose is messed up and the same color as his fur, his eyes is messed up and bulging out of his head, and his ears are all messed up and jagged.

I did not mix up these accounts. I gave EA all my emails I have used in the last 10 years and even my parents who bought me the game and they said none of them were connected to the account that the game code was used for so I am at a loss. :(

This would be very nice. I would be forever grateful if a wonderful member of this community found it in their heart to buy me a digital version of Sims 3 Late Night, I have seen such acts of kindness here before but I will not ask anyone to do such a thing, especially in these hard times.

This attitude right here is what's wrong with the Sims franchise. Knowing that the stuff pack is going to be garbage because it's only $10 and being okay with that. That's how EA is able to get away with milking us for every penny.

I think what she means, is vampires aren't stupid and they won't try to go outside and use an object when it's daytime and thus die in the sun. I wouldn't want witches to be immortal by default. But it would be cool if they could learn a spell that lengthens their current life stage. That way they theoretically are immortal, but it isn't by default like how vampires are.

I remember reading in the Did you know thread that when sims are changed into vampires their age bar changes to say Days lived and it keeps counting up.

So you can't set their age number? Like vampires don't age up anymore but their age thing counts the days they have lived. I was wondering if you could change that number in CAS to make it seem like the vampire has lived a long time.

Here is a question. If you create a vampire in CAS, can you set their age? I know that's such a small trivial thing, but like I am wondering because say you wanted to create an ancient vampire who was like 500 years old or whatever, can you set their age to be that? Or does it just create the vampire at whatever age group…

Thank you for the responses. I really which there was a way to set the pregnancy cooldown to longer for just vampires hahaha. Oh well, thanks again, I'll probably just disable vampire pregnancy so they are all sterile and then turn it back on if I want them to be able to have babies.

Yes I know, but his dark form in-game is different from the one in the trailers.

They are not the same. In the trailer he has a less skinny face and small nose and his eyes aren't bright blue in his dark form like the one in-game. So while they may be the same character, they are not the same looks-wise, which bothers me because the trailer one looked a lot better in my opinion.

You could do it where the vampire is like the founder and they continue to live forever as their descendants live their lives. Eventually it would get to the point where like the descendants really wouldn't know the vampire is their ancestor.

I don't think the trailers are backstory so much as they are just showing us how the pack works. I mean the Nosferatu looking vampire isn't even Vlad, or at least they don't look the same.

I was under the impression there really was no backstory for the premade vampires in Forgotten Hollow. I mean Vlad is the traditional old school vampire, and he has obviously lived in Forgotten Hollow awhile, and Caleb and Lilith are more modern vampires, and they probably moved into Forgotten Hollow well after Vlad did.

Thank you Zafireria, that's exactly what I wanted to know. Well actually now I have another question hahahaha. Are the vampires that are spawned able to turn sims, so like if my sim asked them to turn them they would be able to or would they not have that ability?

See that isn't a randomly generated NPC though. That's one of the 3 starter vampires from Forgotten Hollow, at least it looks like him. I'm wondering if they create new vampires in each world so there is one in each or something. Or do we only have the 3 that come with Forgotten Hollow.
