It's super worth it, it runs surprisingly well on the mac. Those 2 EP's are fun, but they aren't compatible with mac. So if you're looking for the sims 2 that'll actually work for you, it's pretty much your only option that isn't gonna either not work on your computer at all or seriously mess up your computer in the process

No, I had just traveled to the lot when it appeared. >_< So far it has only happened at restaurants I believe. I have tried repairing and updating, clearing mods/cc, caches, everything.

It's happened to me too! But only in restaurants, and my sim wasn't drinking anything. I had just traveled to the restaurant and the lethal heat moodlet was waiting for me. Thankfully you can fix it by going to game options> seasons> uncheck let weather affect sims mood

It takes sims in the sims 4 forever to earn a lot of money so I'd wait till you can actually buy all the fun stuff for toddlers before I'd try, if you're going for not using cheats

The only way around it without modding is playing as the other households for a while, which will make your game progress without you playing it.

If you play the game in a smaller resolution (widescreen essentially) it'll look normal, and you can always change it back when you exit CAS

I'd say my favorites in order are ts2, ts1/ts3 are tied, ts2 Castaway, my sims, then maybe the sims 4 makes the bottom of the list. I agree 6000%! I have been a long time sims player and the sims 4 has disappointed so much it's a little ridiculous. There is so much free content you can get with mods that will sadly never be a part of actual games. I only use alpha mods with hairstyles and clothes, not people. I'm always looking for maxis match ones because these games never come with enough clothing and hairstyle options
