I had the cart with the update. I do not own all the packs. It stopped flashing when I clicked on it. It doesn't flash at all since the e-patch. To be honest it doesn't bother me, it's just there.
I've started and restarted legacy challenges so many times because everything gets achieved so quickly and it gets boring for me. So I started playing on short lifespan for the struggle and this works for me. I'm currently playing the not so berry challenge and I'm only just reaching the goals and I love this. The third…
I realised why I get bored, and it's because the lifespan is too long even on normal lifespan. My teenager got an A after 2 days at school, because she achieved so much as a child. So only another19 days before she becomes a young adult! Her parents had completed their aspirations before their adult birthdays. I thought…
Don Lothario, medical intern. I've been playing rotationally for the first time with the base game townies. So far Don is woohoo partners with all three women in the household. Every time he woohoo's with a new girlfriend, I roll a yes or no generator to decide if it's a try for baby or woohoo. Three babies so far with…
I was feeling the same, so I played Sims 2 for a couple months, and realised how much I enjoy rotational play, so that's what I'm doing now in the sims 4. Here's how I set it up. I deleted all residential lots in 2 worlds. Then I deleted all sims in manage worlds, excluding Father Winter. I set seasons to 28 days. I…
Excellent comment. Exactly how I feel about the sexual orientation too. It should be an option. I remember watching the livestream when it was introduced, and the Simguru showing it said there was no toggle on/off because you can't do that in real life. I appreciate that sentiment but for me this is a game not real life,…
If you set every school day on the calendar as a holiday and tick the box to day off work/school, your sim's grades shouldn't go down and as long as homework gets done they should improve.
I had a picky eater infant too, I never discovered a food he liked. He also hated wake up time, hated being put down and had the sensitive trait. He was a complete nightmare. I got as far as scoot with him but so glad he's now a toddler. The sims 4 has got challenging, and I love it :)
I have only had a good experience with neighbourhood stories. I've not had excessive deaths or adoptions. I've been playing the 100 baby challenge. My sim has had 52 children, 29 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren to date. Only 1 early death from the adult children and only 1 early death from the adult grandchildren.
This happened in my game when I didn't realise the teen had acne when she aged up to YA. I fixed it by turning off acne in pack settings. The acne disappeared immediately. I turned the settings back on and the acne did not reappear.
