  • I hope your initiative takes off. I don't have a proper horror story, but I sure would love to lurk here and read some spooky stuff. Good luck!
  • Happy Anniversary! I've joined just a few months ago, but I really liked this special place, its welcoming atmosphere, the more and less serious discussions. Here, and through my reading circle, I came across many wonderful Simmers and stories. So I'm sad about leaving this place, but that's what I'm doing due to…
  • Dear Fellow Members, I'm afraid I have to resign from our awesome Circle. I vastly enjoyed my time here and I will miss reading your stories as well as your kindness and support. I'm taking a break from SimLit in general as I need to reorganize my life. I appreciate all your feedback on my undeveloped sotry- if you're…
  • I tried playing with a toddler a couple of times- always gave it up after an hour or so, real time. I'm happy for all those people who wanted them so badly, but personally I don't care. I've only played with children while doing the legacy with a scoresheet- I needed them to fulfill aspirations and max skills :d. If I ever…
  • @CitizenErased14 Go with your gut. I think one of my first impressions when binging A2A was that, among other things, you put unique, creative spins on archthemes/ well-known plot-points. (Like, I think I can predict what's about to happen and then I'm surprised) So I'm sure you'll make this storyline different from the…
  • @Celticgamer0 Welcome! I like the beginning of your story a lot. Chole's voice is sophisticated and amusing because of his slef-assumed superiority. The pictures are great, too- including the one on the main page. Very interesting. One thing I'd suggest is working on making the navigation a little more user-friendly. You…
  • @friendsfan367 omg, hahahha. I can see a certain allure of the handywoman :D
  • @Cement ( see, I mean you, not the pavement :d)- amazing shots, as always. I'm intrigued by that airport scene, so I REALLY hope your work on that chapter is going smoothly. And just out of curiosity- how many words did your longest chapter have? Also, my day's been okay. I take anything that's not total plum at this…
  • lol. Something smiliar happened to me too. Good that you solved it.
  • Thank you for all the answers so far, everyone. Always nice to see that I'm not the only one finding something to be an interesting topic. I enjoyed reading your opinions and seeing many different takes on the matter. I don't have that much time right now, but I'll try my best to answer. :) @MadameLee Alex is handsome so I…
  • Sorry, I should have tagged you! LOL
  • @JordanSimsF I'd like to thank you all for the support. I'm doing a bit better now, but it's reassuring I can reach out to you. And, I finally finished the next chapter, so there's new material to discuss for when my turn comes. It's a different angle than I usually do. It's... Cement-sort of long, I guess. ;)

  • It’s Inspiration Wendsday in my time zone and, in the first part of my post, I’d like to ask about pre-made Sims. Do you use them at all in your story and if so in what capacity? Have they ever became main characters? Have they given you any ideas for storylines, for example by their personalities, styles or something…
  • @MadameLee Haha, I can tell by your teasers that it must be crazy. I will check it out when I get the chance :)
  • @CitizenErased14 Maybe you could share just one small tip? You do have a lot of experience and you make readers sob like crazy with your characters. Or go mad with how the characters develop into plumholes, but develop nonetheless. EDIT: That came out wrong. Some of the characters sometimes act questionably, but it is very…
  • @friendsfan367 It's free.
  • @friendsfan367 it's great! Have fun with it. If you need any particular tips, don'y hesitate to ask- I will try to help. Well me, or any more advanced usser here. Welcome, @Acarb90 :)
  • In general ( not just SimLit) I write down characters' psychological profiles. I mean, I'm not a psychologist, so it's not a professional profile, but I use my own experiences, other people I know and research. These profiles entail backstories of course. Then, I try to update them as the story progresses and the…
  • I agree. Staging and composing the shots is tricky on its own. Editing can be fun and it can help fix some unfortunate choices made during staging :p. (Info for non-GIMP users: you can adjust the perspective of the photo. I wouldn't say drastically 'cause it looks funny, but it's a cool tool). As a reader I enjoy seeing…
  • @Elizabeth94803 @friendsfan367 Have you ever tried GIMP? It's free and while not quite as magical as Photoshop, it is similar and advanced. You can play around with lighting, saturation, etc. Everyting is adjustable.
  • Oh I thought it was just about the discussion- I actually try to keep with with everybody's stories, so in addition to commenting on yours and Bella's, I've been posting on Jordan's and Arrowleaf's blogs. Thanks for the hugs and support, it means a lot- especially since I can't tell almost anybody about my troubles.
  • Hi, Guys. First off, I'm very late without any notice. I apologize. The truth is, I'm not doing too well with life right now and I'm distracted. I underestand if you'd rather gave my spot to someone more active- no hard feelings. Although, I have another proposition- I should figure out some things this week so either I…
  • @CitizenErased14 hahahhaha I love it.
  • If there ever was an Auggy spin-off, I would read the plum out of it. @CitizenErased14 @InfraGreen I know it's coincidence. I finished No Star's chapter, looked for A2A and just had a train if thougt about how Axel and Zayne used to hang out, what's the difference in the timelines and realised the similarities in pacing. I…
  • @CitizenErased14 @InfraGreen Hey. I've been wondering how much collaboration between the two of you is going on hehind the scenes. Because I smell a conspiracy: regarding A2A and No Stars Over Uptown What's up with that? You know you have a lot of mutual readers, so double the fun, double the heartache ;)?
  • @orangeplumbob It's great that you feel good about it and are pleased with yourself. #TeamConfidence Sounds like you're really suited and qualified for the job so I'll keep crossing my fingers that you land it.
  • @Erin Happy Birthday! @orangeplumbob I saw your post few hours ago and I've been crossing my fingers and negotiating with the universe on your behalf.
  • Oh wow. I did not see that coming, but Tony being an alien makes a lot of sense. He's too skilled to be just a human. I don't know what to think about Kellie. She had the serious hots for Chris and it wasn't just emotional. I remember her checking out his chest and all. I'm also not surprised that she didn't enjoy sex with…
