Couldn't that be accomplished by just woohooing with another sims without them living together? I guess that wouldn't work for male sims though. And your idea may let people bypass needing a relationship?

That would be great! Their "internal clocks" never wake them up in enough time to do everything they need to in the mornings.

@Hephaestion, there actually is an option to add a bidet to a toilet through upgrades. They get a lovely little moodlet that says "bidet made" after using the toilet. I think it would be cool to add optional extra cleaning options. Like maybe these extra interactions could be available to neat sims, and the normal cleaning…

This could potentially be added as an option from the fridge as well. Kind of like how you can buy books from the bookshelf and upgrade parts from the computer.

For the whims you could try reseting the sims using "resetsim firstname lastname" in the cheats console. I'm pretty sure that resets the whims. That will also remove non-environmental moodlets though, so if you had gotten them playful through an interaction, you would have to redo that to make them playful again.

Wow. That was a magical fix. I just ran into this issue today while trying to figure out what is causing my map reloading bug. Opened the lot to find a mailbox hanging out in an awkward corner all by its lonesome and moved it to the front of the lot. Voila! I can see the house in map view again. Thanks for the tip!

To me, it seems like the skin tone is the only thing that is generally averaged between the 2 parents. I think they try to limit the number of surveys going out to a small but representative number of people. If they sent surveys out to everyone that would be a LOT of information to sort through, but they wouldn't necessarily get very much "new" information out of it. Update in case anyone else has this problem. I figured out what was wrong thanks to @sabreene I had unzipped all the files, but somehow the mc_cmd_center.package didn't get copied into the mods folder with the rest of it. I don't think I've ever used the randomizer. Pretty much all of the games I play are themed (e.g. Harry Potter characters), so I have names already in mind/names that the author already gave to their kids. So I follow those for the first generation and then after that I chose names that fit what their personality will be.
