I still love playing TS3 on my iMac. As long as I purge the memory frequently, which takes about two seconds each time, I find it stress and hassle free. It helps that I don't use much CC and don't use CAS very often. Build and Live mode work a lot better than CAS.

Yeah, that BluebellFlora, she really clutters up my download folder ;) ChemicalWibs also has terrific residential and community lots if you are in a bit of an Exchange frenzy. I particularly enjoy her libraries B)

After a brief battle with the launcher, I won! Lovely iWord and Newton Park should now be available in my game. I just need to wait for the coffee pot and get a little slice of parkin and then I will go check it out. <3

I think some people manage to play on a MB Air but not with a full set of EPs and probably not very satisfactorily. Rainbowbear might have a chance with just the starter pack but it's going to be harder work than on a Macbook or iMac. When you say that nothing else happens after you have seen the screen with the green diamond, does the game crash to desktop? If you can open the launcher does it all look as expected - for example is the game patched up-to-date and are all of the expansion you installed highlighted in the row along the bottom?

This bug happened to quite a lot of people's sims after Generations came out. Is your game patched up to date? I did a quick google of the bug and found that some people got aging working again by moving the age sliders around and then exiting the game and restarting.
