2019 Jan 11 SimplyJen & TreyNutz! Holy PLUM! You two are AWESOME! THANK YOU! I'd actually forgotten about the yucca plants! I probably un-installed *Lucky Palms* when my ancient PC was having trouble with too much game content. Since then, my son built a "kick ..." one for me that ROCKS! All that was needed was to…
Monday 7/9/2018 *** Yo Lisa, my sweet TS3 friend! Wow! The last time we connected was a whole year ago when you sent me the PT Cruiser cc link on my *The Sims-3 Forever* Facebook (FB) page. I've neglected the page and haven't played the game for about 6 months. No, I'm not playing TS4 and never will! :p And yes, I totally…
1-13-17 Hi Ed! Remember ME? Forgive me ... this isn't my place to join the conversation because, as you know, I don't play TS4 but certainly understand this particular issue. ;) Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I'm still loving your TS3 *The Wild Wild West* WORLD and currently playing it again for a story series…
It's absolutely GORGEOUS! TS3's Create-A-Style (CAS) is SO much fun! I couldn't live without it! It's such a creative and powerful tool. I've used the metal textures for satin, raw silk and sparkles on bedding and gowns. Oh, don't get me started on the other ways I use it!
9-20-16 *** @berginon It really pays to spend a little time asking for help in the TS3 FORUMS. All I wanted to do was delay a pregnancy. Yeah, I'm a bit behind the times and never used mods of any kind so I was reluctant until I saw this! WOW! It's exactly what I wanted with more options I hadn't considered or knew I…
9-19-16 *** @berginon Sorry to be so late getting back to you. My son is coming over later today to help me with this. He uses MODS in his games too (not the SIMS) but knows a lot about this stuff and actually BUILT my new rockin' PC. ;) The external hard-drive is plugged in and ready to backup the saved game. Then we'll…
Thanks, @berginon! I've NEVER used a mod of any kind but I LOVE the idea of this one because it would be PERFECT for what I'm trying to do! I read the entire page but can't figure out how download/install it. :/
Thank you! I take care in posting my questions on the appropriate forum sections. From now on, I'll start with that in hopes simmers will pay more attention and not get confused and/or confuse the rest of us. B)
@CravenLestat @TadOlson @LaBlue0314 @ginger170 @igazor @Karritz @nickibitsward Did I miss anyone? What wonderful simmers ya'll are! THANK YOU ALL for your help and valuable tips. <3 If any of you are fans of *The Big Bang Theory* (TBBT) sitcom and use Facebook (FB), I have a page devoted to stories of the characters as…
Well, holy plumb! THANK YOU! I misunderstood because maybe I had aging ON and didn't realize it until then. I know nothing about the "instant elixir" but let's not go there. You'll have to admit that TS3 is jam-packed with EPs, SPS, settings, store content, cheats, 3rd party content, mods, etc. I doubt there's anyone that…
Thanks for the TIP! B) There are all kinds of kid's room content for TS3 with some I might not be aware of or have forgotten so I didn't pick up on that because I don't play TS4 and never will. But I can understand confusion when people reply without differentiating between the two. From now on, I'll request that replies…
This is/was carefully and intentionally posted in *The Sims 3* section. I'm a devoted TS3 player and would NEVER post anything about TS4 HERE. If others replying are referring to TS4, I'm in serious trouble. :/
Ah! Key words here, "...players can age their active HOUSEHOLD sims up whenever they like with cakes..." So if/when I use the cake for ONE...others in the household will age up too? That explains why all of mine did when using the cake for just ONE. :( Now I'm in trouble again. :p But at least I know that my sim is…
WOW...THANKS! I didn't think it would work with Aging OFF. And your other tip here about the CAKES to age them up is VERY valuable. However, I'm guessing that when you use it for just ONE in the household, it ages up the rest too. :/ I hope I'm wrong. I thought I had Aging OFF when I used the cake for one but holy…
6-19-16: Wow! I've been meaning to THANK YOU but got caught up in the "doings" on my new kick-A$$ PC. I'm sure you know THAT drill. Much to my astonishment, all of the TS3 re-installs from Origin and transfers from backed up folders saved on an external hard-drive worked swimmingly! Admittedly, it was scary but I did it.…
Thank you SO much, @igazor! Yeah, it's going to take a LONG time to backup everything on an external HD, reinstall all of the games, etc. I'm not looking forward to this but ALL of the "Electronic GODS" are forcing me/us to upgrade. Someone told me that Microsoft no longer services/supports Windows 7 so I guess I'm looking…
I bookmarked this because I'm wondering the same since I have to get a new PC too. My son is loaning me his external hard-drive to backup my important folders/files so I hope someone has the answer and SOON!
