  • @Vagenius "Sims 4 Neighborhood Stuff" I've seen lots of player-made stuff packs and many pack concepts pitched here at the forums, but I especially like the title of this one.
  • I've had this thought myself quite often. I didn't ever play Sims 3 but it seems the Sims 3 Store got a lot of hate. Maybe they were overcharging? Based on the production output by the CC makers, who are doing it all in their spare time by the way, a talented 3d modeler should be able to produce way more objects than what…
  • A big splash screen asking me if I want to use a pre-made world or create my own world. Right under that question is the control panel where I enter settings for my sim's economic system, weather system, gender attraction system, personality system and hiders for any 🐸🐸🐸🐸 CAS/Build/Buy items I don't want to see.
  • I would be totally down for this. At first glance there's not a lot of pizazz but as I visualize how it would play out, I see myself using it a lot. It would be a super nice way to switch up skill-building. You don't say anything about other attendees. Do you picture other sims in the class and if so, how many? Would they…
  • Genius. I could go for it even if it only affected accessories, because I am constantly removing them but the clothing is obviously going to be replaced with something. One button for removal, one button that asks you which categories you actually want it copied to.
  • @luckyheather @Taoron I would like to second that nomination. This lot is such a pure example of the love of building as well as a celebration of reading. There are so many little touches like the way the spine on the 'book' is designed as well as grand set pieces. The entrance could be a public art installation in any…
  • Your original builds are looking great. Moderne especially fits the name and there's a lot to be proud of. I'm sure you will come to prefer your own builds over makeovers as time allows!
  • I adore school builds and this combination of the every day type stuff and then Magic! is so fun. I like this better than a thousand Hogwarts. You really put the game items together so well to tell the story of a school.
  • Never have tried a crater! The closest I've seen is a build by SimDoughnut where he had a swimming pool in an old quarry. It looks like the castle just ripped right out of the ground due to the position of the rocks! Do we have rocks like that or did you tilt them with TOOLmod? A really amazing build and Wizard'sTower is…
  • What a great celebration of the new stairs! So many of us had projects on the back burner for too long. This is a very realistic example of a semi, you totally captured it. Around my parts we would call this a duplex LOL. Have you tried playing two families and keeping them separate?
  • @Allears A perfect little starter, going straight into my new starter Tray. @rosemow 's stained glass art looks so good with that bedding. Good art choices can really bring new life into base game furnishings.
  • So I learned about Evgeny Lushpin! I see where the canal is coming from, very European feel. I think everyone gets an urge to do what I call a "street" build on those giant lots and for sure they are not easy. The biggest I did was 50x50. You knocked this one out of the park, it's absolutely gorgeous.
  • Whee, we're going to Europe! The Victorian Townhouse looks great. This type of build makes me wish we had a neighborhood where the lots are just jammed together so we could get that dense big city feel.
  • Lovely shares Rosemow. I think the stained glass ones are so nice as they would accent any Glimmerbrook build. Thank you.
  • @kilra0 Can't get over how cute your little art deco cafe is and I like the way you landscaped to fill out the space. And I just got VG! With the downstairs theater this is the perfect date spot.
  • I don't have the spooky pack but the way you combined it with ROM looks so stunning. I don't think I've ever seen someone use the effect machine in a screenshot before. How great! I always forget about that thing. Also thanks for the Glimmerbrook community lots, that's something we're in short supply.
  • Love both your starters, I'm beginning a tray file just for starters and these are going right in.
  • @revgrv Thanks for taking the time to take good pics and lay out your problem in a way that's easy to follow. I learned a lot from your "tutorial"!
  • I ran across the HGTV Urban Oasis 2019 home...wow, full set of floor plans and pics of every room from 20 different angles. How could I resist? It took all the angst out of building...so soothing just to follow the plan. What does it say about me that I got ROM and VG just to have that window and clock? Available on the…
  • Oh, I like the name and the dark magic vibe. It really looks like something that has been there for a very long time.
  • I would have been down for this too. I really liked Strangerville but I guess it got ragged on so much they didn't want to go down that path again.
  • I have another way to explain what I think is going on behind the scenes. I've worked for almost 20 years for a large national company and customer service is part of our core business plan. We spend ALL of our time thinking about what the CUSTOMER wants. Making a Sims game is a creative process more like making a movie.…
  • @NoTalent I appreciate your last post, even if I did scroll down to find my name LOL. I made a TL:dr in the Ideas Corner that almost no one read where I outlined ways they could make us really happy with very little effort but they seem to have forgotten what the word 'simulation' means. Knowing business, I can tell from…
  • Marvelous Modern is looking like a really nice contemporary build, very architecturally in vogue, and then hold up! What's that on top? LOL you really went the extra 300 yards for your client. I don't think I've ever used those windows in Family Den. They look really nice with the newsprint walls.
  • I must have those stylized black cats! I've only recently begun to use people's customized art and it's great to discover pieces that really fit my builds. Thank you for sharing with all of us.
  • Everything I know about architecture I basically learned from researching Sim builds so it's fascinating to see you take regular game items and morph them into such interesting archetypes. Looking forward to following you around the country. Also, you've convinced me to switch my style from full Tudor in Windenburg.
  • @BlueShreve I'm enjoying your builds. I can just feel the satisfaction at finally realizing a lot that has been in your imagination for so long. @Gwiniel That's one of the best set-up screenshots I have seen so far. Fantastic build and a well-deserved nomination.
  • @emere I'm loving that you made a set of matching houses because I did it once, before/after vampire occupation. I'm leaning toward The Sunny Spell because that color really pops but in The Celestial Spell pic that front elevated courtyard is more obvious and it looks really good.
  • @Taoron Love how you always know the exact sizes of things.
  • I agree 100 percent. Those lot driveways are quite jarring and what's up with that random pickup truck. It's 80% quiet magical forest and 20% backwoods rednecks.
