Hi CK! I can see pictures on the first part of page one, then it degrades into the line of code instead of the pictures, sorry. I watched the live stream on Life By You and it definitely piqued my interest. We shall see. You will have to report on your early access in Sept. This looks like a different direction than EA's…
If you ever want to join in the fun, the guild's name is Let's Talk Shop. Almost everyone in there are former sims players and some play both. I am not ditching Sims for this game, but I think after 22 years, a break was needed. I am hoping for all who are excited about this ep, that the bugs are few and the gameplay is…
Hey CK! I really hate saying this, but after 22 years of sims, gameplay, bug, glitches and tearing my hair out, I have found a new game. I cannot generate enough interest to even open the game. A couple of times, I opened the sims, then immediately closed it. It is, for me, the same tired aspirations, traits, yada, yada.…
Yep, that's me as well. As soon as my singles get married and/or start a family, I lose interest. I may have a family of 3, just to say I have a family, but my sims are partiers, travelers, date arounds who do not settle down. So that's a big no for me.
Must have both! It's about time, 9 years with the really ugly sleepwear is waay too long. My sims are mostly either single, roommates and/or significant others, so there's little chance of showing more than is appropriate. If I am playing a family, then there will only be one sexy outfit and the rest, family friendly…
If you are into mods, Carl's Sims 4 Guide has a mod, I think it's because of this mod, push Shift and left click that brings up a menu, click Growth Stage, click on Mature, and the plant/tree reverts back to mature...sheltered also helps. During the fall and winter, I use the patio warmer to put by the plants and bee…
Just posted in another thread, I might be in the minority because I actually like the fact that the sims are doing something after pause is on. Reminds me of the Sims 3 and how they would turn their heads and watch what you were doing. :D It was even better in the Sims 2 when the sim would look up at the monitor and agree…
Welcome to the forums! Nope, this one isn't the "big" one, lol. There's the live stream on the 31st, then the big one. :) I must be in the minority because I like it that something as small as slight movement still happens even though game is on pause. This reminds me of Sims 3 when the sims' heads would turn and watch…
Since my sims are spellcasters or vampires, they don't really have a morning routine, per se. Plus I like the reward Seldom Sleepy, that way they go to bed and sleep a full night's sleep every other night. When they get up, their routines include doing the must do stuff, they can either cook, get leftovers or Delicioso.…
I think, since fitness is a skill itself, skiing, snowboarding and rock climbing all have their own skill set. My fitness and outdoor sims love all of them and have high lvls in all of them. If your sim is going to be skiing down rocky slopes, they'd better have their fitness lvl up. :D
I play sims in desert locales and imho, Desert Luxe was great because it was gifted, but also I love the stuff in it. I know it probably didn't take a lot to make this kit, but the items fit in perfectly with the desert landscape.
My sims don't do collections, to complete them, just to sell the common stuff and keep and display the rare stuff. Really makes the decor rating go up. I had a sim open a museum with all his stuff from excavating, but lost it in the big bork. I love the fishing, so I have done the fish collection and am in the process of…
In real life, my sister lives with me and she is a cook. I say that with a capital "C." She is very good so our house always smells like bacon frying, coffee brewing, cookies, and rich aromas. My room smells like incense, Rose, Lotus, Opium which is a very nice smell. My sims' houses, I would imagine would smell like mine…
I will definitely try that next time sims have Christmas. It always upset me when he didn't give presents to the little guys. He usually gives really great presents!
I can try and answer some of your questions. No changing weather, especially up on the mountains, always snowy. My sims go there for their summer vacation to ski. There are Japanese sims everywhere. Lifestyles are depended on the sim. If they like to spend a lot of time outdoors, they will end up with outdoorsy lifestyle.…
I got them all too, but I don't know how to do spoiler tags, so you'll just have to trust me. :D 1. Lt. Agnon 2. Serena Bhamra 3. Izzy Fabulous 4. Agatha Crumplebottom 5. Dustin Broke 6. Greg! 7. Baby Ariel o:)
I just bought the clutter kit and used the EA app, and it worked great. In fact, it was much faster than Origin was. I would have to hunt through Origin to even find where I could download. I am pleased with the new app, so far.
When I did have Father Winter included in the Christmas holiday, he wouldn't give a gift to my toddler. I felt so bad that when the cheapskate left, I had them give the toddler a gift, which made him happy. Skinflint, he's not in any of my games at present. :D
I know what you mean. But so far, I have only found that the menorah and the kawanzi candles work to reward the want. I usually put out one or the other to fulfill the want, otherwise I just have them light the tree. The last time I had a family do this the tree caught fire. :# Happy simming and Merry Christmas!
Oh I definitely love Springfest, especially the Easter Egg Hunt. Did you know that you can hunt for egg in every single plant/flower/bush on the lot? I love this feature! I get many rare eggs that way, lol. I usually have egg hunt, attend ceremony, decorate and garden. No cheapskate Flower Bunny. >:)
Yep, I have edited out Father Winter and the Flower Bunny. For reasons stated above, Father Winter is a pest, staying way past his welcome. Forget the Flower Bunny, throwing flowers everywhere. If they were good ones, tulips, lilies I wouldn't mind, but no, he just throws the cheap ones...mizer. :D I have Christmas Festive…
@Simmingal, you have brought up an interesting point. Maybe I need to spend more time with my sim in the Magic Realm...thanks. @blueybluesky, aha, someone else has this problem too. Not that it's a good thing we both have problems, but I'm hoping against hope it's not a mod. :# @simgirl1010, I'm jealous, lol.
