  • I know for a fact that riding a horse in WC looks wrong. :p Windenberg has a good area for riding. Henford is a good place also...all those lovely large lots. But I do love Chestnut Ridge, perfect for the horses. I'm getting ready to take a horse to Granite Falls, made a house specially for horses and owners. It seems to…
  • It has been months since I have entered anything in the Henford fairs. My sim had baked a great pie, won the red ribbon and the pie was returned. That is the last time it worked right. I tried a couple of more times but got no notification, no ribbon and no entry. So I just don't play that anymore...which is a shame. :/
  • I wound up buying the pack and I am glad I did. What a blast! I can't believe how gorgeous all the designs of jewelry they made. Which brings to mind, why couldn't they have done that with the base game? :p The animations are terrific, reminds me of the great animations in Nifty Knitting. I never play Tomarang, which is a…
  • Believe it or not I just found this thread and I'm bookmarking. Great stuff! I have known about debug and had used it in the past. I forgot how much stuff there is...wow. Thanks for doing the hard work!
  • I love the fact that the charged gems make jewelry other than just looking pretty. They have the power to do many things, which I like. I love the many things that spellcasters can do others cannot. After playing a "normal" sim, I like the idea that they will be able to do things like spellcasters do, only without being…
  • Originally I wasn't going to even buy the pack. After seeing content I really like, I bought it and love it. There is a cart button but it doesn't light up...it's just there. So, no it doesn't bother me. There are too many other bugs that bother me a whole lot more. >:)
  • Desktop PC and laptop. Both devices can run Sims 4 well, but desktop is naturally better due to the amount of mods and cc I use. My niece is using my laptop to play Sims 4 with a small amount of cc, and it has just started slowing down after all the blame packs that EA has released.
  • Nope, I'm one of those that make existence cushy for my sims...living vicariously and all. :D With that being said, I'm not backing down when some other, not so nice, sim decides they are going to start trouble, Ha! A nice zipzap or chillio spell will clear any confusion up. >:)
  • My big hope that EA fixes the NPC service staff. If it doesn't get fixed, I'm not playing until it does. There is such a loss of gameplay for me if there aren't bartenders, wait staff or chefs. This is kind of a deal breaker for me, so I am crossing my fingers that this fix works.
  • That's what I'm hoping...fingers and toes crossed...thanks!
  • I am more than a little annoyed when after FR, I have no chefs, wait staff, hostesses, or bartenders, nor do I have any chance of hiring any as that is greyed out. When they fix the restaurants and bars, then I will think about buying this pack. So the answer is no, I will not be getting this pack, maybe no time soon as it…
  • What is marriage? :D The last time I had a sim wedding was in Sims 3. I remember trying several times but would mostly end in disaster, so no, if my sims DO get married, it's often instantly, sometimes in the bathroom in their underwear. I have the same reaction when asked how many jobs your sims has had...no rabbit holes.…
  • Aging is on, full time, but only the active households are immune. Along with others, I too use MCC to adjust lifespans.
  • When I picked turn on the music and dance, that's what my sims do anyway when they accomplish something, like upgrading the toilet. :D
  • For me it's depending on the room. Bathrooms tend to get the bright lighting whereas the living room, more subdued, same with the bedrooms. I have used the tiny saucer on large rooms when I don't want to hang 40 lamps. :D
  • The same with me, almost instantly my sims begins cooking. It takes longer for the menu to show up from the fridge than the sim actually cooking, lol.
  • First of all, main trait has to be bookworm...love to read. Second one has to be family-oriented, in rl not in the Sims, lol. Most of my family live with me. And lastly, probably cat lover, we have 2 in real life, but not so much in the Sims...one sim has a cat and that's the only pet my sims have at the moment. I would…
  • The only time I took a sim there, and there was nobody there...total crickets. Like the night market in Tomarang. The sim I took was a little upset that I made her get in the photo booth. That's the only time I ever saw a sign like, "Don't ever make me go somewhere I don't want to go." :D
  • A long time ago, I had a vampire that won the lottery. Maybe that's the key, lol.
  • I hadn't planned to buy either, goth is in the base game already and I have great cc. But I was perusing the Gallery and saw this castle, and I was in love. So, long story short, I bought the castle kit, especially for this beautiful castle. (Besides, I had $4.99 just doing nothing, lol.) :D
  • The most favorite is RoM, every one of my sims are casters so I play with this pack, a lot. Next is Spa Day, again, I use this game pack every day...most of the b/b in cas. Third place is a tie between Jungle Adventure and OR. I love sending my sims to both locations on sightseeing trips and fishing expeditions. B)
  • I love the pictures, but no...just no. :D
  • For some time I have been able to shift/left click on the mailbox and set my own naps. No problems for me that way. I do have MCCommand, so not sure if this great shortcut is available without the mod. No spaces for voting in naps...yay.
  • What can I say, 14k plus hours since 2014. :#
  • I agree GalacticGal! It's like there is no medium when I know good and well there is. :D
  • When my sim is reading a skill book, and she wants, badly, to put it away..."nope, you're going to finish that book, I don't care how many times you get up to put it away!"
  • Hi Sheri! No food spoilage and the occupants of the house, unless they're a geek, don't really notice. I usually have them read, make potions, practice their magic, or just go to the park to fish, skate, swim. There are any number of things for them to do while there's no electric or water. Now geeks are another story,…
  • Hi CK! Yeah, it seems locked doors aren't working anymore. :s The neighbor would wander in and out at random, checking the fridge to see if there was anything to eat, painting on her easel, all the while I'm trying over and over to lock the dumb door. Sheesh! I threw in the towel early on For Rent. Oh and I thoroughly…
  • Sale, pfffft, what's that! :D I think there are maybe 3-4 kits that I don't own, and don't plan to. (No need for Menswear, Grunge, Basement Treasures.) Otherwise I buy usually, on the day of release.
  • @starfree, I've had a few landlords in the past and I'm here to tell you that nothing happened like these landlords. :D And of course it is over the top, this is EA we are talking about, lol. @Simmerville, there is no way in he** that I would play landlord in this game if I was a rotational player. I thought apartments…
