I have the standing and canceling interactions bug, and a bug where the power box breaks in a "Needs TLC" apartment, my sim fixed it and it still has the effect of it being broken. I have no mods or CC. I have a feeling it's related to the QTengine crap.
I am one who thinks that toddlers were boring and took too long. I don't feel I need them, but I would appreciate more distinguishing traits between teens and young adults though, and adults and elders.
I would assume it could be Story Progression if you have all notifications on and possibly some of the replacement/new mesh mods. Overwatch solves problems, not causes them. I would also recommend installing Nraas Error Trap. And make sure they are for the recent update to the game launcher.
Personally, I would say The Sims 3. If you have a system that can run it properly and install Nraas Overwatch and Error Trap. I do enjoy The Sims 4, but the game is somewhat "light" on content at this point. I do also enjoy TS2 mainly for modability, and still play TS1 for nostalgic purposes.
We have to be respectful of the Devs, they are doing what they can and saying what they are allowed to based on what their administrators say they can. They are not to blame. Being patient and buying into the game or not is our own choice. Oh and @SimGuruDrake that was very kind of you to respond to the OP.
My opinion is given not every expansion, SP, and GP hasn't been released yet my view is it is an ok sequel. Good no, bad also no. At face value for what we have now (I would call it bad at launch) it is fine, I'm pretty sure not what long time players like me wanted as a Sims game. The positives: 1) The graphics are nice,…
The "specially ordered" engine to provide playability to individuals that could not run TS3 because of a lower-end processor and they "screamed" about it (Mostly kids and teens) the engine they built for this game is on the low end of the RAM and processor requirements, which is a hinderance to the game itself, also likely…
Let's be honest, toddlers seem to be a lost cause now, as it has been almost 2 years since release. Personally I found them burdensome, if they were designed like in TS2 where they were more enjoyable, then I'm ok with it. However focusing on what is more plausible now, I would love to see the return of Story Progression,…
My view on "Lifestates" is I love them, I have bought into The Sims since 2001, and I find them refreshing to an otherwise bland game, they change up gameplay. I do not personally get why there are parts of the community that say "No Lifestates because I need realism." If most people wanted a fully realistic Sims game, we…
The main issue I have is the base game was $59.99 and in my opinion, not worth that price when it came out, I do not seek rushed packs, but I would like quality packs (Somewhat lacking) and know what to mostly expect, and an estimated release schedule a couple months instead of a couple weeks in advance like with TS2 and…
I think it is sturdy, but not going uphill. The positive is the large community, and more people enjoy the series than dislike it. The issue that I think is hurting the community is the lack of communication from the Devs and release dates are never announced more then a couple weeks in advance. I remember with The Sims 2…
I also miss being exited for new EPs, the only EP and GP I loved in The Sims 4 so far are Get to Work and Outdoor Retreat. Those had the most to do. I loved the design of the "world" in Get Together, but the gameplay felt a bit shallow, as it was all about partying and ignoring family play. I liked a few features of Spa…
My theories would be 1) Viability of Expansion Packs 2) Rushed Release 3) New Fan Criticism 4) Refocusing of the Sims 4 to be more of a "party and hanging out" simulator from the leftover ideas of "Olympus" or The Sims MMO.
I personally could care less for a pack like showtime. If it was done like Superstar, that would be nice, but I don't think that would happen. I also am not horribly interested in another pack about partying and "hanging out" we need more whimsy and generational play. I do not have any strong feelings about toddlers, they…
No, I'd rather not add additional compatibility issues and learn a whole new operating system that probably will be as badly implemented as Windows 8, I'll stick to Windows 7 thanks.
Webroot. I had Norton originally but it was terrible and caused massive lag. Webroot uses a lot less space and processing power and monitors a file. If it finds a file did something bad to your computer it deletes the file and removes all changes to your computer.
