I remember the ticket machine from Sims2, it was awesome! One of my sims homes had a casino-type establishment on the first floor with lots of card tables and what-not. I had hoped it would be included in Sims4 but alas, it was not. I will definitely be looking into the mod for the lot trait, thanks for sharing @Mstybl95.
It depends on the sims, sometimes they elope, sometimes they have a big planned event. I decided for one couple's wedding to have it at Myshuno Meadows because it has all the necessities. They invited all the guests, hired the caterer, and so forth. They had to travel there from another 'world' and when they arrived, it…
@Elisetom When you are in CAS, each clothing category has a little ^ arrow above it. If you click on that, it opens up the tabs for the other five settings. Then just click each tab to set the additional outfits. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who didn't know. :)
Yeah, I'm old - over 50. I've never heard of this artist, I don't listen to current pop music. I really don't care one way or the other about her having a tie-in with the game. I never heard of Baby Ariel either, she just sits in the 'other households' bin.
I think it would be cool to have throwback packs that have some of the things from previous Sims games. For example, a Sims2 throwback pack that has some Sims2 style stuff, cars, Smustle dance, etc.
I don't think it's too girly as much as it seems to be catering to pre-teens. I think that's a bit odd, as most of the people I know who play Sims have been doing it for a long time and are way over 21 yrs old.
Gameplay for me. I like nice graphics, but the gameplay is more important. Honestly, I would pay a pretty penny for a re-issue of Sims 2 with updated graphics.
I did this more when Sims 4 was new, as all my families were having multiple girl births. I prefer to be surprised and wish that there was still risky woohoo in the game so that pregnancy itself could sometimes be a surprise.
I regret paying full price for University. I was excited because I loved University in Sims2, but I am a rotational player and the current version is absolutely terrible for that. :( I took one sim through it, and that will be it for me.
I don't think that game designers should be motivated by 'political strategies'. Games are a form of entertainment, and it's better to leave politics out of it.
I play rotationally and that's where the story progression comes from in my worlds, I control it. I am not a fan of story progression built into the game, it was a major reason that sims3 was my least favorite iteration of the game. Being able to toggle it on/off would be a must if they re-introduced it.
I was very excited for this pack at first, but it's impossible to play rotational. I was very disappointed with that. I sent two people through university, they did well and it was fairly enjoyable while I was playing them. I probably won't be sending anyone else though, because of the rotational thing.
One of my least favorite things about Sims 4 is how hard it is to kill sims without mods. Sims 2 was awesome with so many ways to accidentally (or otherwise) die. My favorite mode of death was getting hit by a satellite. I usually kill sims that are just plain awful/evil or if it's part of a storyline.
