As someone who’s been playing The Sims for 20+ years, I will 100% be jumping ship. I’ve said for a long time that TS4 will likely be my last Sims game unless something dramatically changes with EA. I’ve poured thousands of dollars into The Sims Franchise over the years. I’m sick of micro transactions. I’m sick of there…
Okay, so I actually want most of the items on the list. I picked garage and warehouse items primarily because I can’t make my house without toolboxes or a garage. I want a gardening kit, but more for garden decor like statues and stakes so I can make my whimsical, witchy garden. But honestly, all of these things should be…
I’m a cis-female, but I would welcome the opportunity to include many of the hobbies and deco themes mentioned in this thread. I think failing to implement “masculine” hobbies/activities/deco/career out of fear of promoting toxic masculinity not only is excluding male Simmers, but makes those who do not identify as male…
I agree with many other sentiments that I will absolutely not play TS5 if there is any requirement to be online, forced multiplayer, or subscription model. I also am not interested in playing if the initial release is anything like TS4, ie. missing life states/stages, no cars, no create a world, no color wheel, no open…
I hope so too! I miss burglars so much. I’m glad Carl’s Burglar mod exists, but it would be nice to have them back in game. I love me a little chaos. >:D
So things I noticed in the trailer: Sitting the on ground with phone New CAS/Build Buy Football/football field Cheerleading Active school Lockers Spraying hair Rubix cube Detention Bubble tea? Amusement park Ice cream stand Photo Booth Prom Promposals Walking as a group??? Ferris wheel Haunted house or tunnel of love? I…
I am actually super excited for this pack!!! I need to watch the trailer again to check out the details. But holy smokes, this might potentially be my favorite pack yet.
I don’t see it as trying to take away the hype from Werewolves. I think it’s nice that both occult and non-occult players have things to be excited about. I also don’t think this was an intentional leak, but that’s just my opinion.
You have legit been asking for ages!!! I wish they would add it too. Honestly, I think it’s weird that R&B is not included, but more obscure genres are.
I love all of these, but especially the hairstyles and shoes. I was just lamenting the other day that there are a lack of undercut hairstyles. Shoes I would agree with being one of the most lacking. Some of the older shoes are hideous or turn your Sims feet into baby feet. We hardly have any pretty looking heels— most of…
So while I want the band camp and artist alley, I feel like sports are always really neglected in the Sims. I’m not an athletic person at all (my sports are bowling and axe throwing), I’d love to see more sports in TS4. I’d love to be able to go to sporting events too.
Shower beers are 100% a thing! I don’t drink beer myself, but in my line of work, shower beers are very common. I also take long showers to relax, or “shower baths” if you will. I suppose I never got over my fear of Pennywise coming out of the drain when I was a child. 😂
I am so starved for traits at this point that I would *consider* paying for a traits kit. But I agree with you that it should be a part of refresh or base game update. It’s pretty mind blowing how few traits there are in TS4 compared to TS3, as well as how we’re still missing some very basic personality traits. Once again,…
I would love an Outdoor Retreat refresh. If they added swimmable lakes, I would be so happy. Same if they added hiking. If they added canoeing or kayaking, that would be amazing, but I’m not getting my hopes up. I’d also dig some axe throwing, but only because it’s a hobby of mine.
Yes to all of these, but mostly the board game kit. I would love Sims to be able to hang out and play board games or table top together. I also realized this morning how much I would love an accessory pack kit. Scarves, hats, gloves, purses, messenger bags, backpacks, glasses, veils, etc. Or a shoe kit cause a lot of the…
-Goth/punk kit -Lolita kit -Casual menswear (not weird high fashion, just everyday masculine clothes that can also be worn on feminine frames) -Any decades fashion (but for me 80s and 90s would be much loved) -Community lot build kit (things to make grocery stores, fast food restaurants, ice cream parlors, etc) -Clutter…
I would love to see burglars make a return as well as police. Without mods, TS4 feels way too safe, predictable and unchallenging. I’d be cool with an option to turn them off for people who don’t like this style of gameplay. For now, I’m going to check out Carl’s Mod. Didn’t realize this was a thing!
Yeah, this survey seemed kind of useless. There was really no room for any sort of feedback of what types of things players would be interested in having in kits. I’d personally love to see goth, lolita/elegant gothic aristocrat, punk, decades (20s/30s/40s etc), cyberpunk, and men’s casual fashion (like normal clothes, not…
I played TS3 on a 2010 Dell Inspiron laptop with all packs installed, mods, and max graphics. Did it lag sometimes? Yeah, but nothing that really impacted my gameplay and the content was so engaging for me that I didn’t really care. That being said, I understand a lot of others had a really hard time running TS3. I now…
Exactly. Plus, shoes? What a generic tweet. What is there to be hyped about shoes? Shoes can literally be anything. We have no idea if they’re referring to a kit, a SP, a GP, an EP, or a refresh. And for what content? Generations? Occults? Medieval? Babies? Horses? Something completely different? I think gameplay quality…
I 100% agree. I get that the Gurus are probably bound by some sort of non-disclosure agreement. But the lack of transparency in the gaming industry in the last 5-10 years or so is a big reason why I’ve gravitated more towards indie games. Remember when you’d get an insert with your Sims 2 disc that would tell you what the…
